In every scifi setting i.e Star Trek, Cyberpunk 2077, etc, we still see balding men despite all the advances. Do they think there is no true futuristic cure? Is it really really that easier to implant cybernetics/gene modification than to permanently cure baldness?

Almost full regrow, but temples aren't completely filled yet
How are the other feminizing effects going on? How do you deal with gyno, and whats your current regimen? Sorry for over-flooding you D:

1. Those that aren't suffering from it (writers, directors) don't give a f*** about it and don't actively design a universe around curing baldness
2. Even many who are suffering from it don't care enough to make sure that the show is 'realistic' in that sense
3. Maybe this is a premonition of the future and bald men are doomed for all eternity
4. Bald actors, like an ugly hooker, are probably cheaper :D

Who's to say balding doesn't become fashionable?

Perhaps the bald guys feel due to morals or religion that they should not be vain, or they shouldn't mess with their genes

I think we shouldn't assume every person out there would even want to cure their baldness

Among some Native American males, apparently baldness or the appearance of baldness is indeed opted for....

It's because receding hairlines can be a part of character design, you usually have your main attractive guy with a dense NW1 and you can give the evil/nerdy/weird guy varying forms of recession. Just makes it look cooler, people don't want everybody to be NW1 as much as they don't want everyone to look like Brad Pitt

Because people do not value hair as much as people on this forum do. In the end of the day, it's just dead cells, nothing important.

You can simplify and relativise pretty much anything to the point where it doesn't matter.
