Most of my height comes from my legs, not my torso. I already am a bit on the leggy side since I have a short torso. My pelvic bone is just as high off the ground as most guy's who are 6'1".
If I wore taller shoes, or got leg extensions, I'd just look more leggy. Fact is, women like tall guys who are proportionate, not leggy ones like Obama.
Granted, women stare at me when I come indoors while wearing roller blades they did not notice, or when I'm standing behind a cash register on that raised floor. I know I'd get lots of women if I were 3 inches taller. But that is just their initial impression. As soon as they looked down at the feet, or noticed the leggier dimensions, they'd lose interest. That and I'm sure platform shoes are terrible for running in, not comfortable for walking in, and scream insecurity.
I also wore a wig once. It was terrible, made incorrectly by cool piece. But I never let women get within 6 feet to see it up close. I wore it for a week. Most people did not notice it on their first encounter, but there was one guy who clearly knew, and just complimented my hair with a knowing grin. As for the women, they all stopped me on the sidewalk to say hello to me, even though they never did before. But the curvature was not a perfect fit, so I could never get it glued down right in front. The color was not right. I tried bleaching it to match my color, but once it did, it only took a few weeks for it to continue fading till it was too light. I even wore it to class. No called me out on it, but I'm sure at least 2 people in my class noticed it and kept quiet. I could tell by where their eyes were and the expression on their face. But even though I did an OK job, I could still tell it was fake. So you have to be able to trick yourself from all angles at 3 feet distance for it to work.
So that is my rant:
Cliffs:
1. I have first hand experience than an extra 3 inches gets me a huge response from women -- attractive women.
2. I have first hand experience that a perfect hairline and density gets me noticed by attractive women, even at my current height, at least the women who did not notice it was a piece.
