Why not just accept being bald?

There are worst things than being bald. For example, I rather be the most baldest guy known to man than to be short.
Well, I think you just angered a bunch of short balding guys right there haha. When I look at my attributes, I try to focus on other stuff too. Luckily, I'm 6'2", well-educated, and people generally think I'm a funny guy -- not exactly Louis C.K. but you know what I mean. Then again, my balding friend, who is of the "f*ck it, just shave it" mindset, gets more *** than a toilet seat because he's got a great head shape and the body of a Greek God... so there's that.

Exactly... A tall, well proportioned guy even bald, is going to get women's attention when he walks in the room vs a short guy with a great head of hair.

I personally think bald people aren't treated that bad in the USA compared to Korea. This is mainly because many Asians look really funny when they are bald. Their head is longer and they have small eyes (aka chinky eyes), funny looking nose, not so great body proportion, short height, pointy faces, etc. Of course, not everybody looks like this, but in general, Asians do not look so great inherently :( Most people find Western people's physique/face more attractive.

As several people have mentioned already, baldness can ruin your look severely, but you can definitely make up for it with other factors like humor, interesting hobbies, money/authority, and/or physique. Also, if you are one of those rare people who ABSOLUTELY don't give a damn about going bald and remain self-confident regardless of how people look down on you, baldness will put a dent on your life at the most.

Baldness is definitely not the worst thing that can happen in your life. For those of you who have not gone through a major surgery or diagnosed with life-threatening disease, please do make such bold statements. My ACL surgery was much more agonizing compared to hair loss, both physically and mentally, and there are many more surgeries far worse than an ACL reconstruction.

I'm not trying to be a dick but dude, have you seen your posts? I think hair is the least of your problems man, invest in therapy for your depression.

We're all depressed about losing our hair, pal. JZA just speaks his mind, and to some it may feel like glass-half empty type sh*t, he's more or less a realist. We all know the crappy side effects of losing our hair, and he's just being honest about it. Hair loss can cause even the most upbeat, even-keeled man in the world to lose himself. Balding isn't like getting a nasty zit right between your eyes, where you're depressed for about a week or two until it eventually goes away then you go on being happy again. Balding is permanent. Imagine slowly gaining weight, and there was no cure for it no matter what you do and you'll only get fatter and that's the way you'll have to spend the rest of your life: going in the pool with your shirt on, wearing only baggy clothes, women not giving you the time of day, and all the while every thin person around you continues to tell you, "It's okay, it's what's on the inside that counts." or "There's plenty of women out there that like 'bigger' guys." Fortunately, we can diet and go the gym to workout to solve that problem. There is no diet/exercise for hair loss, only the harsh reality of what is.

Bald does not make YOu inferior don't listen to these guys. if you want to shave go for it. I'm only 20 and i rocked the baldy to see how id look for about 3 months. I had compliments on it and didn't affect my confidence with women. It all boils down to who you are. If someone doesn't like you for being bald then they could just **** off :) . I honestly pefer to have hair but I don't mind going full bald looks sharp with a suit. :)
