Why Only Use Nizoral Twice a Week?

I have seen people say in several places on these forums that they only use Nizoral a couple times per week? Why not more often? Why not every day? Wouldn't that be even better?

It dries ones hair out. But i've found the 1% doesn't dry it that much for me, and have been using it every day for the last little while.

I think I will do that for a few months to help give my hair a boost and then cut back on its use.

It's effect is long-lasting. Even after rinsing, Nizoral continues to work for several days.

That's why it should be used twice a week (every 3 or 4 days)

And by not using it every day makes it very cost-effective.

Are there any studies that show how often you should use nizoral to make it most effective?
