Will finasteride improve thinning hair?

Hello everyone, i have a question regarding finasteride, i have been using minoxidil for a few months already for the hairline and crown área. I give 6 shots to my crown and 6 for the temples. However i have been worried cus i noticed how my mild scalp is thinning a bit and i can see a little scalp so i started using finasteride, only have been using it for 2 months plus ketoconazol shampoo.

I dont care about the hairline that much if i dont get a straight norwood 1 but the mild scalp is very important. I noticed when i comb it, that the hairs the front is getting finer and i see a bit of scalp. Alsob with strong light it gets more obvious and im getting a bit depressed and worried about it. However i dont have bald patches, i think, or visible hair los on the front, is just that the strands there look weak so thats why see scalp, but i still have hair there.

So is the hairline follicles are not dead yet (i hope so) can i rely on finasteride to thicken them up a bit? I honestly dont trust minoxidil too much and i rather stick with finasteride.

Also if i use minoxidil in the front, if that zone is healthy it cant get worse right??

Also i have side effects btw. Body hair, including beard grows at a slower rate. I think is great cus i rather have hair on my head than my back lol but i dont know if i should worry about it...

My question is that if i can rely and trust finasteride to thicken thinning áreas of if i should use minoxidil instead. I dont need to regrow, i think, just add some thickness.

Finasterade works better than minoxidil on the crown for me. It helps but it still looks thin using only minoxidil. But when I add in finasteride or ru (which I'm on now) it pretty much regrows my thin crown.
I use minoxidil on the front with no problems. But some people do say it makes them shed.

I see but HONESTLY how reasonably should be my expectations by using finasteride for long term? I guess is different for everyone tho. But right now, despite having a norwood 1.5 or 2 hairline, and some very minor thinning i have a head of hair that could fit an 19 year old without making him look older or odd and i m 25. I just dont see myself in my 30s with the hair i have now... Its just hard to believe finasteride is THAT good. I know it reduces dht a lot so i know is really helpful anyway.

So, when it get older maybe switching to duras will help? For now with finasteride im doing well and i dont want to take too much **** into my system...

Ok... But i dont really need too much regrowth. Is just that in my frontal hair, when i comb it, i notice that some hair looks thinner in comparission and so i see a bit of scalp... I doubt that im crealy thinning but just some very early stages of thinning frontal scalp.

I read somewhere that if the follicles arent dead, finasteride by lowering dht might be able to thicken them, could it be? I dont think are dead cus i see some strands of hair, and i dont know but im starting to see some new strands, i really hope is finasteride, crossing my fingers!

I dont need much of regrowth like i said, just some extra strength, thankfully i got on finasteride just right in time before i had los any significative amount of hair there. I also use minoxidil and keto.

If it doenst get better i guess is ok, but honestly i wish it could because it bothers me a bit.

Btw im 25 and i started thinning\receding at 24 dunno if age matters.
