Will it get any worse? Or is this just normal for 35?

That’s very normal for your age. You are balding. You need to look into minoxidil or finasteride.

Thanks! Will the hairline improve or will that just stop the recession? I'm also thinking maybe I don't care as long as it doesn't get much worse.

You will most likely lose more hair. You might stop here, but highly unlikely. You are probably a strong NW3.

No chance its a mature hairline. Those tend to take place around NW2.

What age did you start balding and how is your family history regarding balding?

It probably will get worse, if it's that way in your mid thirties.

Untreated that is.

I'd say this started in my mid twenties, but I had the widows peak since high school. It's just the temples have receded further. My Dad is bald on top. But he didn't have a widows peak, he started with a bald spot on the top of his head.

Get on finasteride now. You might also want to try using a dermaroller with rogaine for better efficacy.

This is way past a mature hairline. The bck seems to be thinning and hoining to front recession. I would guess being 35 your headed for nw5+ untreated

No! I think it's been pretty stable for the past year or two. Maybe it's done. I think my maternal grandfather ended up kind of how my hair looks now

You can even see the left hair getting thinner. If you dont do anything now youll be probably entirely bald by 45.

If you want to keep and or regrow any hair, you need to act now. The outlook doesn’t seem good. How far your hair recedes can be determined by any male family members, not just your materal grandfather or one side. Some people with bald men on both sides keep their hair for a long time without meds and vice-versa. Please do not get into the cycle of denial if you care about your hair.

Since I think its pretty stable, maybe some natural treatments would be good? I just read up on propecia and didn't like the sound of the side effects. I'd be ok just maintaining what I have with natural remedies

Natural remedies are pretty useless and finasteride side effects are overstated. You have quite a heavily receeded hairline with vertex thinning, if you don't act you're heading towards norwood 5

You need something that stops the inflammation cascade in your scalp. There are no good natural anti-androgens / pgd2 inhibitors. Either go all in or bald. Your decision, but you seem to be okay with your current status so latter seems more fitting for you.

Natural remedies are nowhere near as effective as propecia. It’s just not going to happen. You can always try propecia and if you don’t like how you feel then you can always come off it. You won’t know if you don’t try it though. At this point you might want to consider a hair transplant in the future.
