Will My hair Eventually Thicken Back UP?

ive had highlights for bout 2 years and ive been on finasteride for about a year or so, and back in july i dyed my hair jet black from highlights and ever since then its been way more thin then it was before, my stylist told me it happens when you dye your hair black and just to be patient and it'll thicken it self up.....

anyone know.

I seriously doubt it.

It might not actually thicken up, but the illusion of thickness can certainly become more apparent. It's probably something to do with the color of the dye.
