Worried about my mother

I am worried about my mother. Does this look like a whirl or the start of hair loss/thining hair? She's 58 years old.

I'd say thats just pretty standard age related thinning.

By that you mean it doesn't look like she's going bald just standard thinning of hair?

By that it means she isn't going bald, a great number of women in their 50's+ can have age related thinning that is a lot worse than the image you showed me. I'd say her hair is in good shape for her age.

Yes hair commonly thins out in women after menopause ect, it could get worse eg about 5% per decade but dont worry that she's going to be bald in a few years.

LOL Yes.

Is it normal to be able to see scalp where the crown is?

Also shes parted her hair a certain way for years and when she parts it there now you can see some scalp.

Her hair appears to be thick on the back and sides but I am worried that shell have excessively thinned hair soon.
