Would ARNOLD have made it without hair?

I am a great fan of Arnie and have looked up to him since I was a kid. I know Arnold had awesome hair genes and never really receded, but the question is: would Arnold have enjoyed the same level of success as an actor, bodybuilder and politician had he been a NW5 for example. Weigh in...

No he would'nt have made it without hair. Back in the 70's nobody buzzed their heads and baldness does'nt really project a healthy and virile image.
Also he may be a crap actor but who else could have played roles like Conan or the Terminator? He had the physical presence to make the roles great.

How can you tell? Maybe recently but his peak? - no way in my opinion. I'm no expert though. I don't think he would have made it but who knows? Maybe his baldness would have driven him to be an action hero of a different sort. I can imagine The Rock still being successful even if bald. Conan definitely needed thick long hair though. Fits with the persona.

I am so jealous of people who are not DIFFUSE thinners. You can always get transplants to cover those receding temples, but no way in hell will transplant work for a diffuse thinner whose thinning unevenly all over the head.

Well ,We dont know for sure.But Arnolds hair doesnt look natural to me.Ive seen photos of arnolds dad aswell and he was bald as a baboons arse.For arnold to have a full head of hair at hes age with the steroids hes used is a joke.

The Rock isn't a BIG movie star but he's still successful. You might regard him a joke but he's still popular with a lot of people. I guess it depends what you consider to be success.

I have seen the word "documented" often. Are there links? Out of interest - I am not saying I don't believe you because I do think it's definitely possible.
