Anytime someone comes up with pseudo-scientific explanations about how bald guys are genetically inferior and not only a cosmetic issue, I demand an explanation about why it only affects white guys while bald black males are considered the epitome of black masculinity

So I ask you 2020, why are black males exempt from your sexual selection theories?
The only reason is because it is a comestic issue that the black community sees in a completely different way

2020, stop trying to masquerade prejudice under the banner of science. It's been done before under tragic circumstances. But what about all the genetic conditions that can be passed that don't manifest themselves outwardly? Mental conditions, congenital heart defects, diabetes, poor eyesight, the list goes on and on. Any nw1 can pass these traits along to a womans children without her ever knowing. Baldness is only a problem because it is something that you can SEE that effects your appearance. AGAIN, returning back to the cosmetic issue.

society likes attractive people.
Baldness is not an attractive feature.

what is your problem with that? Why can't you get over this? What is the point of these threads?

So are you a baldy?

not yet, but if I was I would just accept it and I wouldn't become a bitter loser who b****s on the internet about the fact that society doesn't find baldness attractive... Be honest: all bald people would look better with hair.

So just because I come to a site designated to discussing baldness to vent, that makes me a loser? Aren't you a member on this site too? I find your comments offensive needless to say.

Does this contradict what I've been saying all along? I don't think so.

So you think it is totally OK to have a whole demographic of people discriminated against for a random physical trait that is beyond their control?

I don't want to be adored and adulated by society. I want to be left the f*** alone and not have people hurl insults at me like a subhuman piece of trash and think that it is completely acceptable to do so. Is that so f*****g hard to understand?!

You need to quit while your behind. Your not gong to win this debate.

To come onto a hairloss forum and make statements that are offensive by inferring that bald people who come here to vent are bitter losers is either extremely ill judged or deliberately insulting. Either way, it doesnt reflect particularly well on you.

yes, because you could be spending your time on a thousand other things instead of posting bitter comments on the internet....

discrimination... yeah, that's what's happening...

what about short men? A lot of women will only go for men who are taller than themselves, how about that?

It's not just about baldies... unattractive people in general will have a hard time..

I'm just pointing out that this topic is dumb and it won't accomplish anything. Get over it and stop living a bitter life.

Based on everything YOU have said, you are going to fall so hard on your own sword when and if you ever go bald. But don't worry, you will always have the gourmetstylewellness.com.

wtf does this mean? I am balding, it's just that it will take a while before it becomes visible.... I accepted the fact and I try to make most out of this situation. I will never blame my future baldness on society

UC...while i dont doubt that you get some negative reactions for being bald - i do fail to see why you would get them so much more regularly than other completely bald guys i know who don't.

Because I'm trained to notice these things. I'm unusually perceptive. I'm sure people look at your friend the same way, he just either consciously chooses to ignore it or he honestly doesn't pay much attention to his surroundings. People might call me paranoid, but that is just a negative way of saying that I'm very aware.

"Paranoia is just reality on a finer scale."- the villain from Strange Days.

No, I think you are slightly paranoid based on what I've read of yours. No doubting that you get the negative comments but I do believe you will attribute many negative reactions which anybody would get to your hair loss. I've seen it before and also I've seen it in myself about other things. You talk as if society completely harasses you for it "just to leave me the f*ck alone" and I'm sorry but I know lots of bald guys and they certainly do not get harassed in any social circle that I have ever been involved in. The odd light hearted joke occasionally, sure, but not harassed.

I do sympathise though - because frankly I am lucky to have as much hair as I do (for now) and I get ridiculously paranoid about my level of hair loss - I have social anxiety and low self esteem issues - and these things do not mix well at all.

What, like going on to a website for balding people who want to vent and then bitterly criticising the bald people who are venting?.

Seems to me the moral high ground you put yourself on is a little bit shaky but crack on.
