Anyone ever experience using any of the products from lipoxidil???? http://www.lipoxidil.com They encapsulate things like spironolactone, minoxidil, dutasteride, finasteride, etc into nanosomes for targeted drug delivery. Seriously, thinking about ordering some topical dutasteride. The stuff is a bit expensive though.

Topical dutasteride sounds good, but has anyone actually used it?

I'll have to check Jimmy not sure if I got your pm. The lasercomb has slowed my shedding, but I still want to use something to stop DHT. I would prefer an antiandrogen not propecia.

The site looks interesting, with some novel treatments. From what i know topical dutasteride has never been tested and i have never come across anyone taking it, but it sounds good if its meant to be as effective as oral dutasteride, and without the side effects.

Yeah, I was thinking about the topical dutasteride, but the price is a bit steep. The topical spironolactone might not be a bad idea. It should work much better than Dr. Lee's stuff as it is more targeted. It is only $54 bucks for about 3 months worth.........not too bad.

Which topicals are you referring to?

With topical dutasteride for instance I don't think we know enough about its local effect either way because scientists have simply not tested it sufficiently.

Topical finasteride has had mixed results.

Topical Fina and dutasteride are considered to be crap.

By whom, and on what basis? What tests have been done? I'm aware of no tests on topical dutasteride, for example. If no tests have been done, we can't say anything at all about whether the treatment is effective.

Also, why are people worried if topical dutasteride gets into your blood stream? most people take it orally.

Exactly.

He doesn't know - I think saying something as trite as "they're considered to be crap" is pretty irresponsible posting actually and another example of someone perpetuating a misconception having not considered the evidence first.

Tests take time, lack of testing does not mean the product does not work, I think one of us should try the topical dutasteride for 6 months, even while taking finasteride, and see what happens, especially at the temples.
