So im about to stock up on the usual sprio and regrowth shampoo from Dr leeeee.

And am not sure whether to re purchase xandrox 15 plus.

Heres the situation, any advice would be appreciated.

I started xandrox 15+ in october so about 8 months ago. After about 4months i realised i was still losing hair slowly (temples are my main problem) so added spironolactone and hair signals and receding pretty much ceased. I Kept on with Xandrox for another 2 months, didnt grow any hairl on hairline so thought i would try spectral.

Now i only use the spectral on my hairline morn and night (would use everywhere but is super pricey) so i still use 1ml of xandrox at night but only on my crown and vertex.

I want to keep going with the spectral because its doing a better job than xandrox did on the hairline, but still need some form of minoxidil for the crown area and am not sure if i should buy a whole new bottle of 15 plus and keep using the 1ml at night.

Or possibly use a basic minoxidil for crown? but that would mean lowering the minoxidil % / losing the azleic and finasteride contained in the xandrox, thus maybe losing ground and having a negative effect, i really dont know...

I guess my question is could i possibly drop to xandrox 5% for crown because xandrox15 did not maintain my hairline when i used it, possibly the high percent is worse off than a lower minoxidil percent in my case and i could maybe have positive effects in the crown area from a lower minoxidil % ?

Thanks

If the spectral worked for your hairline, why don't use it on the crown? It's expensive, but so is xandrox..

i do use specral dnc on crown in morn, .use dnc-l at night which is the cream and would be pretty hard to apply on crown. And im already goin through heaps. Xandrox bottles are 125 ml i think and last for yonks

Your regimen is massive, you could just keep the finasteride and one minoxidil.. stick with what works and drop the pricey stuff!

its not really, just looks it, and believe me i would love to but tryna grow back temple hair is a real mofo and most people need a bit extra since its a pretty agressive area of hairloss

Yeah i know, temple regrowth is (almost) impossible.. i was doing fine on just finasteride for almost five years and when i started losing ground, i added the minoxidil. Hasn't done sh*t for my temples, i even think of dropping it.

What are your thoughts on spironolactone?

I've been on Spectral DNC (night) and Xandrox 5% (morning) for about 5 months now. My regimen also includes Tricomin, Revivogen, S5 cream (all once a day), and Nizoral 2% shampoo about 2 or 3 times a week.

I've actually improved on my temples and hairline, and gotten comments that my hair looks thicker at the front, but my crown and vertex have actually gotten a little worse...I always thought minoxidil was supposed to be most effective on the crown, so I'm confused.

I use most of the products from minoxidil.com

The shampoo completely took the itch away for me, took the inflammation all away. I use the spironolactone also, doesn't smell that bad(just don't use it WITH a lot of minoxidil).

But what I really want to say is: Minoxidil 15% is working for me, quite good too. I recommend it. But I do think people should try the 5% versions before trying anything else.
