Yes it is true, when you start having great results, you never come back here to post. I use to be a frequent poster but now i hardly ever post since I barely even think of hairloss anymore. I've been on the fina for about 15 months and my hair is in great shape.

Here's the tip. For those of you who cut up your proscar, don't waste that powder. I just let it build up for a while in the container I put my chopped up fina in and after a while i just take the powder and mix it into some kool-aid or whatever drink you like and drink it. Don't waste a dose. That's my tip... Spoken from a true broke *** college student. :lol:

I havent been around for a while and it's all thanks to the dermmatch... completely takes my mind off my hair. I love it.

Hoping at 15 months the finasteride will be doing we well, too. Congrats to you.

My sex life is back to normal. I don't know what it was, some kind of a slump for a month but now i'm back to my normal sex crazed self.

I am happy with my hair so the best thing I and others can do is to give help and support to the other posters. That's the important thing as I remember when I first started out.

Good advice and support can go a long way to help someone come to terms with hair loss. And because there a proven tools to help you combat it it's even better.

We are in much better shape than we was ten years ago. I really am glad that I am able to take advantage of this fact.

Thats not entirely true. i spend much less time on here than I used to. Also, now I feel that now I have somethign to contribute. I noticed that I spend WAY less time thinking about hairloss nowadays. It used to be like 10 hrs a day and now its like 10 minutes a week. Also, the one BIG difference is that I can spend time on here and not get scared shitless about stuff not working or losing more hair than I started with. So much negativity on here, it almost made me not do anything, but I'm very glad I did. Then again, lookin gat the pics, like 75% of the people on here arent even balding anyways....

That is very true. Everytime sombody posts pics, they are not even close to noticably balding. To the newbies, its good that you guys are catching it early... don't be depressed nobody even notices your male pattern baldness. Hopefully you can keep it that way for many years to come.

I know that I am coming here less. i don't know whether propecia is working for me or not yet. But, thus far no sides and no shedding that I can notice anyway. I just feel a little more comfortable with my changing hairline knowing I am doing what I can do to slow/prevent.

I don't come here as much, or respond as much, because frankly the same questions are endlessly posted and I am getting annoyed that people come and never even TRY to read the FAQ or prior posts. Also, the endless mis-information that is posted gets annoying, and of course the negativity.

I am trying to still check this a few times a week to give back, and since I created a text file with the standard responses to the endless repeat questions its been easier
