Yet another reality check

A few days ago I saw one of my facebook friends, a kinda cute girl, maybe a 7, posting pictures with a completely bald guy. I saw like 3 pictures of them, and I thought: 'really? Is the dating him? Maybe it gives hope to all of us'.

I believed that until today, when I saw her changing her profile picture to a pic of her hugging a guy with a perfect line of hair (although he looks retarded) along with a love phrase. That, of course, followed by comments of her friends such as "I'm so happy for you two", etc.

So yeah, I was wrong, of course she wouldn't date a baldie.

Also, after researching further her profile and the baldie's, I realized she has him completely friendzoned. No surprises there, yet another bald loser. Maybe there really is no hope until we all turn 50? What are we going to do the next 30 years of our lives?

ps: I rejected that girl 4 years ago, and now she is so out of my league. Unbelievable.

I believe so. I wasn't model material, but I think that maybe I was a 7 or 8. I'm also kind of funny, which I think can add at least half a point there.

When I rejected that girl that night, I remember that at that party there were 3 other attractive girls interested in me, one that had blowed me a few days before and was clearly fighting for my attention, another one that I had sex with that same night after the party (we started some kind of mainly sexual relationship after that that lasted for a few months), and another one that I went out with a few times later on.

All that was merely 4 years ago, and it seems like it happened a century ago. That is impossible today for me, those girls now act totally uninterested, and they look down at me. They are all dating a bunch of losers but they all have perfect hairlines, which I guess is what really matters.

Why do people always think they are 7? 7 is high.
8 is model material.
9-10 is international model material.
Literally everyone always rates themselves as 7. It does not make sense. There can't be that many beautiful people in the world.
I, for one, consider my face a 6. Before I was 5. I worked hard to improve.

I don't consider 7 high, 7 is a C, so I think that 7-8 is just a bit above average, not ugly but not a model either. In my mind, models start at 8.5 or so, and international models are 9.5 and above.

A 6 would be below average, do you consider yourself below the norm? How do the girls that you date look? Are they hot? Average? Ugly? I think that's a good way of measuring.

I think we just disagree on the numbers, mine seems to use the American grading system, where 5 is failing instead of average

But I'm happy to get a 6-6.5 in your scale That together with a decent personality and a bit of charm is probably what allowed me to date girls 7-7.5+. Right now in your scale I think I would be a 2 or 3, and I need way too much effort to go on a date with a 4, which of course are really not worth the hassle and one of the reasons I'm not dating.

I've tried finasteride but just can't tolerate it. No regimen as of now. So pissed at our limited treatments. I wish I could tolerate a regimen like scalp.

No system for me, just couldn't do it, takes a unique person to be comfortable under a system.

Sorry about that. I'm seeing some good results from finasteride and minoxidil, at this young age you should probably consult your doctor and see if you can give it another try.

Thanks... But still having no hair seems to be a huge turn off, I hear a lot of people saying that I don't look bad, but never from the people I would like to date (no offense ). I'm guessing that girls think along the lines of 'oh he looks alright, but I don't think I could date him'.

Not really... I do have a few girls talking to me but they are 3s and 4s. I think that picture lies a bit, because you can't see the back of my head, where the horseshoe line is visible, and also the picture was taken by professionals, with a high resolution camera and good lighting.

In any case, I believe that baldness is an issue by itself, independently of looks. Guys tend to rate me higher, which might be the reason why most deny the unattractiveness of baldness; it's something that seems to be more inside the head of women.
