:( Reading this im afraid to use finasteride.

Pollichem has a topical solution with finasteride that doesnt allow much to go systematic. The phase 3 trials will be done in january 2018.

I voted "yes" for minor sides, the time wasted from opening the medicine cabinet and popping the pill is an inconvenience

@alexfighterqq

Your thinking nicely shows how bad we humans are in making rational decisions. Instead of using data and base rates from more or less reliable studies to assess the likelihood of a certain events (e.g. getting side effects from a drug) we take our vivid imagination of a few extremes and let our emotional mind win the evaluation battle.

This is of course utter non-sense in many cases. Think about the millions of people who are scared of flying even though it is by far safer than taking the car or the bicycle. The number of flights that have successfully reached their destination goes into the billions and yet what pops up in our mind are the 2 that crushed last month, giving us an unpleasant feeling at the slightest occurrence of a turbulance. Compare this to the millions who are doomed to go bald, but manage to keep their hair without experiencing any side effect. So what you basically do is taking the very few horror stories and let them dominate your estimate, disregarding at the same time the much higher number of positive outcomes.

But no one can blame you because that's they way we are wired...

And where did you come from? Would you mind not sharing something so stupid? "It" doesn't regulate erection. It may affect it. If it regulated it, then there would be no way for any man to take it. 'bout libido, how horny do you feel when you are sick? Or sad? Or depressed? Is DHT low at those times? Hm? Oh and mind sharing what else does it regulate?.... you know, there has been this theory of mine when it comes to DHT. If it's so important, how come that women can live normally live without it?

Pretty sure that IQ dropped 20 points from reading this post. Go read a book.

Lol, basically all the thread is.
Including thoses jokes on sides, even if 2% is the actual number, that's 2 people on 100 who are being mocked here
Bring that number to 'gorillions' of finasteride users like another post mentionned, well that makes hundreds of thousands people who will likely experience sides, yeah definetly a subject to laugh about, like baldness actually, this sh*t is fun

Minor sides here... Slightly watery semen and fat gain.
But I won't give up finasteride just because of a little extra body fat

I've had none. I've been taking finasteride for 3 days now, I might have a mild short lived ball ache every once in a while but it might as well not even be there.

Irwigs just pissed he couldn't get on propecia in time, he's a hating *** b**ch
why you are so defending this medicine, you speak like it is fairytale but it is not. people need to know good side and bad side and he just want to show it. he is not saying this medicine is poison without any positive gain. so i believe it is better to make people understand what they are taking as good side as bad side.

everything you need to understand about propecia can be found inside the leaflet, what more is there to understand? Irwig was clearly biased and im not allowed to be? Also, if you think people take other medications without potential side effects your batshit insane, why would propecia be any different..... FOR THE VAST MAJORITY of users, like any other medication, propecias side effects subside after a month or 2 of being off the drug, so i dont get what all the hysteria is for to be honest.
