You will ALWAYS look better with hair

Always remember that. Even Jason Statham would look better with hair. Imagine him with a luscious, thick hairline... he would go from an action hero, tough man who people want to see take hits and make hits to a gorgeous man (no homo) who every mother would like their daughter to bring home. Even Statham loses points from hair loss, not as many as usually but he lost points don't try and see otherwise.

There is just something so beautiful, youthful and virile about a strong, low hairline... There's no denying it.

I wonder if balding men are "broken products"... if you have a factory you will have so many products made that are defective, even if the process is very effective there's still defective products made. You can have a product that everything is working well except for one component and the whole product fails as a result.

That's what people don't seem to get.... they think because something happens it must be for a reason... you know you're going bald it must be because you have "more testosterone".... they think the best indication their genes are suitable to live is that they're here... a proven product of evolution... but they don't respect that even the best processes have dead ends, or faulty products...that sometimes **** happens for no reason and there's no upside from it.

Sorry if this seems sad... but sometimes I feel very low for some reason, mostly when I drink. It's strange that I feel good some days, even about my hair... I think my hair looks good, or that I've accepted it even if it's bad.. then other days my hair seems to look worse... hmm.. even objectively.. each day seems different. Maybe it has something to do with oils in the hair, or using a different amount of shampoo, or the weather, or the stage the hair growth is in...maybe all these things matter, probably. I hate this emotional roller coaster.

Sometimes I see photos where there's people of all ages... even old men... but mostly middle age or average age ... I notice that hair loss is not the norm.. sure you might see some token bald man but in most photos, say a photo of a group of professionals (all ages) it's mostly people with hair. It's only after the age of 50 that more than 50% of men have "noticeable" hair loss, which doesn't even mean bald either.... so in other words for most of your working life if you have a bad hairline you'll be in the minority. If you bald young you're truly unlucky.

I sometimes type in terms such as "lush, beautiful hair " into Google images...even seeing people with great hairlines hurts so much...I hate seeing these low-hairline, "sunny" personality types around... yeah it's easy being fun, happy and energetic if you look great. These people act like they're gifts from god... always posting pictures of themselves in selfies on facebook or instagram... of course I can't do that because I never look good in photos anymore... what can you do without a frame for your face...?.. it just doesn't work. The brain is like a computer and it likes symmetry and balance.

I used to be a good person, a good friend...sociable.....not anymore.

I honestly think Statham looks better bald/balding, i just looked him up with hair, he was on a dive board apparently 20 years old, then there was pics above with his balding head, he just looked better with the bald head, gives a badass vibe, in his hair pic it was like a cocky vibe, wasnt the same in my opinion.

I don't know about that.

If we were products, we would be sold at one of those outlet stores.

Check this. I don't think I can leave this link long, so I will remove it tonight for sure. Watch it from 36 minutes to 38 minutes.

Then 42-43 minutes.

Link removed but it's ep. 126 of that radio show on youtube.

And that's why his advice is poor. He has tons of hair and uses concealers as well, then says shave it off to some young kid. Unbelievable.

Shaved head you need to take into account head shape, facial sharpness, ethnicity e.t.c. Even then, you are better with thick hair. So I feel he is being irresponsible to the caller here. He may be a vulnerable guy who doesn't treat his hair loss as a consequence.

He was still receding give him at thick solid non receded hairline and he would have looked way better, but there is also no denying that he looked odd when he was younger and so even shaved he would have look even odder, I think he was one of those guys that look better with age.

True, I look back at pics aged 15 and below and think "if only I could have that hair again", you can't beat a thick solid hairline and thick hair on top. Now I am thinning on top at 19 and receding with a weak hairline it is awful.

When a had thick hair on top and a non receded hairline I would shave it off number 2 or 3 guard, part it to the side, spike it up, grow it long and let the wind blow in it and it would still look great !

Once you recede or thin on top (like I am) you cannot do those things anymore. Now it looks like crap and make you look like an old aged pensioner in your 20's (If grown out of course)

It sounds like you are still not at the point of no return as far as thickish hair is concerned. So medication and transplant may be enough. Yes I agree with you, nothing beats thick hair. It portrays a lot about you overall in different scenarios. Not just girls but in a work setting or just having a personal identity.

First, when your hair becomes a bit see through, you start to miss the times when it was super thick.

Then your scalp is really showing under lights, and you're thinking "that wasn't so bad when it was a bit see through, what would I give to get that back!"

Then that thought process continues until you're left with your slick NW5, and you start to miss the times when you had that faint 5 o' clock shadow.

Well, that only applies to diffuse thinners like me. But you get my drift. It's quite funny to see people still talking about thick hair in the impact of hair loss section.

That's true Fred. When my hair was slightly thinning I would miss my full head. Then it progressed to be even thinner, and I missed the hair I had a few months ago. Now it's so thin I even miss the hair I had just weeks ago, and it was bad even then. I guess it will continue like this until there's nothing left.

I watched the segment and I think his advise was alright. He insisted there is a very small risk from medication and if you REALLY think you won't be bothered by it then you can go on with your life. Some people really don't care, they are a small minority but they exist. The advice about getting big is ridiculous though, he has no idea about genetics, steroids and stuff.
