I've read this in some threads on other forums? Is this actually true? I put tretoinin on my face for acne every now and then. I've tried looking at studies and have only found conflicting ones.
Does anyone here take tretoinin?
Have you lost hair since you started thyroid meds?
Also, finasteride in a maintenance drug. Very little chance it gives noticeable regrowth, but it will maintain what you have (if you are a good responder to it). Make sure you read about the sides though.
I know you're joking and all, but as a NW1/NW2 myself, it's always on the back of my mind aswell. Kudos to OP for trying to catch it as early as he can.

You will most likely lose more hair. You might stop here, but highly unlikely. You are probably a strong NW3.
No chance its a mature hairline. Those tend to take place around NW2.
What age did you start balding and how is your family history regarding balding?
After browsing through reddit for a little while, I found out that that the highest forehead wrinkle is the lowest your hairline has ever been. My highest forehead wrinkle is low, would this indicate that I may be balding?
Thanks for the replies.
I was just told by someone that accutane can cause male pattern baldness. Is this true? I dont really take accutane, I take tropical tretinoin to control my acne and was wondering if this can cause long term hair loss.
Thanks for the response. That's what I've been noticing too. I have a cousin who has at 30 has perfect hair and his brother at 25 is a NW7. I've been told I was going to bald early (moms family has male pattern baldness) but when I posted on this site, I was told I have no hair loss.
