Same situation I'm in, I'm achieving decent results with 1mg of Finasteride and Minoxidil twice (sometimes once) per day. It's kind of annoying to start the regime at 19, but it slows the hell of out of it if you respond well

Like they said try to find an affordable minoxidil. And it might hold your hair in place until you start taking finasteride. I'm just now turning 21 and my dermatologist said i'm the right age to start it. Try to make sure your hairline is receding tho, best of luck!
