DHT is the correlation. As many here have stated, the same hormone that chokes out scalp folicles is responsible for triggering body hair follicles. Its a well known fact. I've even heard of some people using propecia simply to decrease their body hair.

Trashing finasteride is like shooting yourself in the foot.. Sure, its not for everyone, but it is single-handedly saving more heads of hair then anything else, and usually without any significant side effects! God bless it!
