I don't consider 30k a lot of money, but maybe that's just me.

Ideally a cure would never cost that much, but if it came down to it I would. I mean, would you rather drive a Honda Civic and have hair or drive a BMW and be bald? I'd take the hair any day. 30k in goods/services would not have the same impact on my life as a full head of hair.

My dad is 60 and maybe NW2. His father was like NW2.5 when he passed away in his 70s. One of his brothers is about a NW2 but the youngest brother went completely bald in his 20s. If you're lucky you won't but chances are you'll fall victim to the genetics he passed on.

To me it's a disease. It distorts your image and makes you look less healthy and less attractive. The effects it has on a person mentally and emotionally are greater than a lot of diseases people actually sympathize with.
