When you figure this out man, let me know. I've been battling the hairline for 5.5 years, and I've tried: revivogen, minoxidil (5% and 15%), spironolactone, xandrox, spectral dnc, and now spectral dnc-n. Not to mention the whole time being on 1.25mg/day fincar, and some form of shampoo with keto (currently...
First of all, kudos on the extensive regimen breakdown and analysis. Much appreciated!
I didn't have any success with spironolactone, which I purchased from Dr. Lee's website and used for about 1 year (5% on hairline/temples, 2% on vertex).
What has been your experience with Spectral? I'm thinking...
I used Dr. Lee's spironolactone cream for approximately 1 year and didn't observe any positive results. That being said I was only using it on the hairline and temples, but I continued to experience general degradation in this area during the entire period I used spironolactone. I was also using Dr. Lee's 5%...
I've been using it for close to a year. Similar results with other generic finasteride I've used - general maintenance in the crown and vertex, continued thinning of the hairline and temples. It is more costly than other generic finasteride, but Dr. Lee has always been reliable for prompt...
To share my experience...
I've been using Dr. Lee's 5% spironolactone on the hairline and 2% on the crown for ~8 months; in combination with fincar, nizoral, and minoxidil. I have had adequate maintenance, except in the area of what I call the "greater temple" region. That is where I'm most diffuse...
Re: ok my first success
Your regimen also says you use spironolactone at night on the hairline and temples. Are you using 2% or 5%. I tried Dr. Lee's 5% for a couple of months, but couldn't stand working the cream into my hair. Just started with the 2% liquid and much prefer it's ease of application.
Re: IBM story - (NW3.5 - Big 3+Oral spironolactone, pics added Aug 2008)
I can answer this one. That's Kristen Bell from Heroes and Forgetting Sarah Marshall fame.
Props on the poll! I think more of these polls covering a variety of treatments would be a good way to summarize this forums user's experiences. Got to break through the voter apathy; however....
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fincar is also produced by Cipla, the Indian Pharmaceutical company.
I've been using Fincar for 2 years with no results, or sides, to phone home about. I've supposed I've maintained in the crown, but continued to recede in the temples.
I've been applying Xandrox 15-plus to my temples for about 2.5 months now. So far they have only thinned out slightly, which is tough to cope with but I know is "supposed" to happen with any minoxidil product between 1-3 months of application. I've also been applying Xandrox 5 on my vertex and...
After reading through many of the threads and constantly questioning my own progress and regimen, I was curious if anyone has found anything at all from any online reports or investigations that conclusively proves that said brand "x" of generic finasteride is fake.
I myself have been using...
In my opinion it's in the correct thread because it was a success story for the person who posted it originally.
I'll reiterate that this isn't my regimen, but I posted it because of it's horsepower(HP=$$$) and multi-faceted approach in attacking male pattern baldness. Consequently, I wanted people who have...
I thieved this regimen that someone posted on some kind of hairloss/steroid use forum years ago and was considering adopting some features of it into my own:
"Finasteride 1 - 1.25mg ED
Xandrox 15% (has Azelaic acid already, and is a stronger growth stimulator)
Minoxodil 5% with Azelaic Acid...
