I think his derm meant stress triggered the gene. You can have the gene for male pattern baldness and not go bald until your 70. However stress can trigger the gene to "go off" earlier and I think that is what his derm meant.

another stupid question, if T levels decrease with age then shouldn't dht decrease as well since T is converted to DHT, so shouldn't we have thicker hair as we get older?? It seems to me as I have been looking on every forums on how to treat my loss that for every negative propecia post there...

might be a stupid question...but if baldness increases with age, which most likely means dht/androgens increase with age, then why does ED increase with age as well??? Wouldn't it be the other way around??? Also don't a lot of people also report an increase in sex drive while on finasteride, why is this?
