Cheapest place to get 5% spironolactone for the UK?

Right I've decided I was jumping the gun a little by wanting to start finasteride before trying any topicals, I'm going to try topicals first & if they don't work i'll try finasteride. I'd preferably like to try the S5 spironolactone cream, but i notice it's a lil' pricey, anyone know the cheapest reliable source to...

20, receeding - want to do something about is ASAP!

I went to my doctor yesterday (different one this time) and he gave me a private prescription for 1mg tablets, I did ask for 5mg tablets but he said he can't do that as that's only for prostate cancer. I took the private prescription to a pharmacy, £115 for 3 months, pfft, so I asked them if i...

The doctor I saw really seems to know nothing? :S She said I have to see a specialist and that finasteride can't be prescribed in general practice :O But that aside, she said there's nothing I can do about hair loss! :thumbdown2:

    Living with Finasteride

In my opinion, losing my hair would be worse than having problems with sex. I've never really had a very high sex drive anyway. I guess it matters how you rank the 2 things. But I for sure am starting finasteride in a few weeks. There are many drugs out there that may cause permanent sexual...

20, receeding - want to do something about is ASAP!

The only way to see a real doctor in person would be to go privately as it's not covered on the NHS, and as a student with no job I am short on money as it is, so it's not something I'm willing to do but I think I may still be able to get a blood test, especially if I tell my doctor I'm on...

Decided I'm going to stick with a trusted site, I've seen some bad reviews for inhousepharmacy, not really willing to risk it. I'd rather pay 20p extra per day and be sure it's legit. Never know when you may just get a dodgy batch.

Does sound a little too good to be true, but for £15 i'm not risking much so i'll give it a try, thanks :)

I'm not sure if I should risk it from that site, or spend an extra £19 (for a year) on tablets that you have to cut into 5 from a trusted site.. hm.

    Alpecin or nizoral shampoo?

Do you think using both would be a good idea?

    Help a newbie, fairly depsperate.

I went to my GP today and she said its not possible to write prescriptions in general practice for finasteride in the UK and that you'd have to see a specialist (trichomerist?), privately which would cost a lot i'd imagine. So online pharmacies is your best bet. Even if you did see a specialist...

I'm in a similar position to you except no dermatitis (well, i get it on my hands ever since i had scabies last year) im 20 and its noticeable on windy days when the wind sweeps my hair revealing my receded temples :/ ugh.
