By looking at the 2017 pic with a shaved head I’d say you’ve had amazing regrowth but then lost a little ground, not much. That was probably min right?
You’re one of the very lucky ones. You look really good with a shaved head.
Thanks for the comment, good to know I can pull of the shaved look when it comes time haha. Yeah, I had some great regrowth with just rogaine then definitely either plateaued or lost ground. But since adding Finasteride, it seems like im starting to get some good regrowth and thinner spots thickening up.

Finasteride is mostly for keeping your asset not regrowth. You will need to massage and head pressing exercise to remove blocked dht and other inflammatory cytokines. Plus a good diet rich in plant protein and vitamin is necessary. Las but no the least ,reduce mental stress. Best luck!!

Thank you for the information and advice! I am going to add more mediation to my routine and been doing lots of handstand push ups and massaging. Lots of plant protein eh?

quick update, sorry I missed the month by month update. Hairline still the same if not progressively getting worse despite 1mg finastride, minoxidil, keto shampoo. Ive also started doing a few other things diet wise and holistic wise. Nofap, meditation, more working out, cold showers, all improving my mood and I feel great but I don't see any improvements. I may continue for 2-3 more months, but if no noticible improvement on my hairline I will put an end to the regime. Its costing quite a bit of money and at best im maintaining a matured or Norwood hairline that I don't like. I still wear hats when I go out and don't like the way my hair styles. Ill post some pictures later. If no improvement ill just accept the fate, get off finn and keep buzzin my head. I don't really care about the hair anymore. Ive accepted that I look better with hair but my life isn't reduced to my hair. I have way more redeeming qualities about who I am. Just in this case, I didn't win the genetic hair lottery. Ill keep my profile active on here, maybe try some natural alternatives. If I do decide to quit the regime, ill post follow pictures to show the progression of it getting worse. If hair matters to me when im older, ill just get a transplant or a hair piece. But for now im 25, and theres more to life than hair. Ive receive good feedback from everyone on here that I can pull off the buzzed head, that's definitely made me feel better about myself and for that I am grateful. I'll try posting some pics soon.

maybe im crazy, idk but it doesn't seem any better
It is kinda hard to tell. Maybe it does look slightly worse but that could be due to the different angles of the pics or the length of the hair. Try giving finasteride more time. For some it may take up to a year before it starts to work.

Update: New job has me wearing a hat all day, was putting strain on my hair. Shaved my head. Hairline looks waaay worse. Will put some photos up. I honestly cant believe it. Finasteride + Minoxidil + keto shampoo + dermaroller and im convinced im still receding. Could my male pattern baldness be too aggressive? Considering I started receding around 22 and im 25 now? I called the pharmacist and he said at this point, im close to 1 year of Finasteride. Hes pretty sure the drug has reached its potential as far as how much DHT is being inhibited via conversion by 5ar. He said if its getting worse or just stabilizing to try out dutasteride or a higher dose of finasteride to block potentially more DHT. Considering Ive had ZERO side effects ive been thinking about it. I just don't know if I want to block 90% of my dht. He said I could give it another year once ive reached the 1 year mark and I may see some potential regrowth but hes reassured me the drug has reached its maximum strength. Ive got to go back and look at my hairline a few months back but once you see these photos I think its convincing that Its getting worse.

What else has changed? Ive included lots of handstand push ups in my routine for shoulders. Drinking chocolate milk few times a week because my job is really labor intensive. Supplementing consistently with Vit D, Zinc, Magnesium. Ginko Biloba, Ashwaghanda (adoptogenic herbs). Chamomile tea before bed, sometimes green tea on my days off. Lots of bodyweight exercise routines. Lots of deep sleep. Its been a few months since ive touched marijuana and Im getting insane dreams every night and incredible sleep. Cold showers twice a week.

Is it possible dermarolling can be damaging my scalp? Could minoxidil be cause more harm than good? Maybe I should stay on Finasteride and experiment with some topical herbal dht blockers or topical oils? Is the shampoo too aggressive? Ive noticed lots of acne on my hairline, sometimes really dry flaky scalp. Will put the photos of shaved head up

Yeah it is looking worse. That sucks because in your January photos your hair looked amazing, like almost NW1. In my opinion it’s just that minoxidil is not working anymore. I can’t think of any other reason why you lost all gains.
