You used 2-3 ml twice a day? I use liquid minoxidil +progesterone (supposed to help prevent the hypetrichosis) and I also think using massive doses can work (but I worry a little about side effects on the long term).
I can't put it in the morning and go out with it. No way.
Also, you can get reed of the facial hair thanks to laser.
Heya, sorry for the late reply. I'm now using the foam because I became allergic to the minoxidil with PG, and I use a alot of the foam for each application as I'm covering my entire top scalp. But my hair is short and the foam acts as a thickening agent like a mousse on the hair, it actually helps me with styling before I leave the house.
Before I became allergic to the PG I had a very good run with liquid minoxidil, I literally bathed my scalp in it. The downside it made my hair look extremely greasy and as you mentioned there would be no way I could leave the house looking like that. So I have have to apply minoxidil like much earlier before leaving, altho night applications were fine, unless I applied minoxidil then suddenly friends wanna go out, it seemed like my whole life schedule revolved around minoxidil application lol.
I don't know what your hair length is like, but drenching your hair in minoxido is definitely not an option unless you have 1.5 hours to spare before going out. You could try lightly dabbing the dropper on the scalp where you need to apply thus reducing the greasy look.
By the way where do you get minoxidil with progesterone? I'd like like to try it as well. As a man, I couldn't care about hypertrichosis, love my hair chest haha. The areas where I dislike my hair (traps, shoulders, lower back) and wax them sometimes are already quite hairy so a bit more or less hair doesn't matter much. Although as a woman I guess it would suck to get hair in 'manly' hair places.
By the way what do you mean get rid of facial hair? I love my beard lol. Although I shaved it off and now keep trimmed scruff, without facial hair I'm literally a baby.
P.S. I just wrote about my minoxidil experience, post #16
