nice site revamp.. I think.

9 years on finasteride now. I think it's maintained my hair pretty well - fingers crossed (don't want to jinx it) o_O

Best thing to do is just pop the pill every day and forget about it - get on with your life and stop worrying about side effects, since it can become a self-fulfilling propechy

unfortunately I've had to get a new GP and she is clueless about male pattern baldness so I may have a battle on my hands getting the b*tch to prescribe me the generic. Why can't GPs be more educated about these things?

you just had hairline recession or vertex thinning too ?

both so it was obvious male pattern baldness, so I caught it in the bud early. Not early enough sadly - I still have noticable crown thinning and temples mostly gone, but I'm glad I didn't leave it any longer..... I just live with it, and use fibres sometimes

never used Minoxidil

Watery semen isn't healthy

killing yourself over going bald isn't very healthy either....

If you already have a prescription I don't see why she would have a problem having you continue it.

hopefully, but GPs are clueless. One GP I saw didn't even know that Propecia was a licenced drug for male pattern baldness, others consider it too 'dangerous' to prescribe even though they prescribe it all the time to men with enlarged prostates, and I've heard others say their GPs advised them to change their diet/lifestyle and it would help regrow their hair!!

i went to a girl derm once a long time ago about hair loss and they said there was nothing you could do. Had no clue finasteride even existed I guess. Its not that uncommon actually.
I think girls tend to see girl derms or doctors more so male pattern baldness probably isnt very common for her

Please elaborate, as watery semen is simply a result of yournprostate being shrunk therefore excreting thinner fluid, as far as I know at least, please do enlighten me though.

but does it affect the quality of the sperm?
