Am I Balding ? It Is Becoming An Obsession

Hello guys,
Until 2016, I had a different haircut than nowadays : I had like a "Beatles haircut", which hid my forehead, and I never thought about hair loss because my father has a full head of hear while he's in his late 50's.
But then I changed my haircut in a way that I would actually see my forehead and my temples, and I noticed that I had quite a big forehead... and that my hairline was high and in a V-shape.
Since then, I've done quite a lot of researches but I'm still wondering if if I have a mature hairline or a mild balding hairline.
I don't know why but I started to be really obsessed with that topic for the last two months. I'm going to see a specialist in three weeks, but I would like to have your opinion before.
I'm 26. I didn't notice any thinning, even though some of my hair around the edges are a bit thin. I didn't notice any important hair loss (in the pillow when I wake up for example). My... silk base ? (I'm sorry I'm not an english native speaker...) seems fine. On my father side, most of men have a full head of hear except two of my cousins : one is Norwood 4 at 37, the other one is Norwood 3/4 at 45. On my mother side, everyone still has a full head of hear, except my grandfather who had really thin hair and probably a Norwood 5 when he died at 70.

What scares me is if I'm in the shower and I'm looking at my hair it seems fine, but if I really pull my hair really hard on the back, the hairline seems much higher, and I never truly know if I have a V-shape with slightly rounded edges or an M-shape with slightly straight edges...

What do you think ? Do I have a mature hairline or a mild receding one, according to you ? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me and sorry for the mistakes :)

You’re not balding. You’re not maturing either. Please go live your life, you have the same haircut Homo sapiens had, it couldn’t be thicker. Seriously, do it.

great hair man no balding lol

Well thank you guys ! I hope you are right !
But I think the pictures I posted earlier don't really show what concerns me : when I pull my hair really hard towards the back of my head, it might look like I have a "no hair spot", as you can see in the picture below that I just took. Don't you think it could be a sign of a problem ?

If you still think that's not balding or even maturing, I will stop bothering you with this, because I guess it's quite irritating to see someone worried with a full head of hair... in that case, sorry guys.

I think you're fine for now bro. If I were you, I'd take a picture every 3 months. It usually starts like that, with like thin hair on the temples, but still wouldnt count it as balding becasue your hairline is extremely straight which is a good sign ofc. soyeah I think u should just monitor it

Well you're NW2 in that new picture you posted

I think it's just a mature hairline. It would be worrisome if you were like 19 or something

You say you only changed you hairstyle recently so maybe your hair has always been this way? Honestly mate it's really not good for your mental health to obsess about such things, especially when ther's probably nothing to worry about. I would strongly advise not to go on any medication at this stage.

It sounds like you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Body Dysmorphic Disorder. Your hair is absolutely fine, so please try to stop obsessing and worrying. There's really nothing for you to worry about regarding your hair.

Well you are probably right, it's not the first time I'm really worried about a part of my face or my body, and I did suffer from OCD for a few years.
I actually like my hair as it is now, I'm just worried that I started to slightly bald or if I just reached my mature hairline.
The only thing that I found really strange is the fact that if I look at my hair in its "natural state" or straight out of the shower, it seems fine. But if I start really hard to pull my hair towards my back, especially on my left side, as shown in my second reply, the hairline does seem higher, and someone here said that it might be a NW2 (which someone else contradicted, that's true), which can be maturing, or balding, according to different sources. Maturing would be fine, I like my hair as it is, it could stay that way for years or even decades and I'll just have to monitor it a few times a year. Balding, on the other hand, is another issue.

But all your comments reassured me guys, so thank you :)
