Another Potential Treatment In 2018?

Okay guys, this just dawned on me and I wanted your thoughts. So Cassiopea, the company that is developing the antiandrogen Breezula (CB-06-03), is now in a Phase IIB dosing range trial. After that they will do a Phase III trial and then hopefully release it as expected in 2021. This is very exciting I think, because it will be something that will maintain your hair more effectively and longer than finasteride, without side effects (theoretically of course). Anyway to my point, Cassiopea is developing an acne treatment called Winlevi, which is essentially the same drug as Breezula (maybe just a different concentration, not sure). They are in a phase III trial with that right now, and they are planning to release it in early 2018. My question is this, since they are the same drug, they should have the same effect. So couldn't this be prescribed off label in 2018 for Androgenetic Alopecia? Couldn't this be a potential maintenance treatment for 2018? If so, that's very exciting... another thing to help until Tsuji annihilates Androgenetic Alopecia forever.

Yeah I don't know what exactly makes Breezula different from Winlevi, hope others have some input. And here's a slide from Cassiopea that shows the timelines of Winlevi and Breezula and the trials with respect to one another if anyone was interested.

Like you said, I believe one of the big differences is concentration - hard to change the concentration of a topical without a lot of refinement (correct me if I'm wrong).
Yeah, in the german forum they already plan how to do it. :D

From what I remember from their brochure, Winlevi is 5x less concentrated than Breezula. Of course the vehicle must also be different since one is supposed to go on your face and the other on your scalp.

Not particularly. We're all moving at the same, glacial, pace.

Actually they are even more conservative.

But we have some good chemists and they already speculated that once Winlevi is out we might be able to use that. But actually most users are back on finasteride, because slight 5ar reduction is beneficial even if you take something like Ru, becuase you never block the receptor 100%.

I imagine after InBeforeTheCure figures out all the genes involved he'll probably need someone to fill in all the German chemists to figure out what can actually be done about it.

Do they have any side effects from using Ru and finasteride together?
