First off, apologies if this has been covered before.
I'm a 22 year old guy whose hair has been gradually thinning since age 18 in a classic pattern, with it getting to the point this last year where if you looked down on my head from above you would clearly see i was losing fairly moderately.
Anyway, in an unrelated decision, i had my hair bleached a few days ago. The barber happened to tell me it would make my hair appear thicker and easier to style as a result of the drying action of the bleach. However i didn't anticipate how much of an impact it would actually have. Now if you were to look down on my head from above it would hardly look like I was thinning, if at all. It has thickened my hair up remarkably. Of course light blond hair makes thinning less obvious, but it really has thickened up a hell of a lot too. So any guys who are in fairly early thinning stages, maybe give it a go!
Of course my hair is pretty dry now and feels slightly synthetic at times, but i'm more than willing to exchange that for the increase in thickness.
