Amazing city. No matter what you do, make sure you see Times Square. If you have room and board taken care of, that will be good, because as someone said, its expensive. Expect $250 a night average hotel room in manhattan. Absolutely worth it though if its a visit.

Definitely check out Golden Gate State Park. Great photo ops if the weather is good. Definitely check out Pier 31 and over to Ghiradelli Square.

Beaches, Beautiful Girls, Expect one torrential downpour of rain per day. Clears out pretty fast. Humid. Might not be bad this time of year though.

Beautiful country if you enjoy mountains, fields with yellow flowers in them, etc ... but this time of year expect snow. Definitely a kick back lazy not so hip area, but interesting still.

Disley *LAND* is in Anaheim - Southern California near los angeles. Its a sorta neat area of town. Its still disneyland though - target audience is Mom and Dad with their 4 year old kid. Its still a sorta neat tourist area though. Weather is really nice this time of year.

Well, Illinois in the summer can be nice

Expect cold, dreary, dark crappy dirty blah blah blah if you're talking chicago area suburbs. Everything else expect flat, empty (cold dreary dark snowy muddy windy) farmland. Either way, expect cold

Never been there. I don't think anyone else has either

Kidding. Expect down-home traditional people with conservative values, a church on every corner, and slavery. Kidding again. But when I say conservative, I do mean there are still many people there with that whole racism, trucker, farmer, pickup truck driving, rifle in the back, big dog, i hate blacks n jews mentality. At the same time, some of the best people in the country are in that area called the Bible Belt. Genuine, sweet ladies, good wholesome momma's boys patriotism, hard working blue collar authentic USA great cooking and apple pie. Its all what you choose to see
Have fun. I've been to Perth, Melbourne, and areas of the great barrier reef. Perth is almost identical to San Diego, except slightly less populated, more "untouched", and clean than san diego. Remember its winter here, so you're going to be seeing everything at its least desireable - except new york. Definitely see times square, rockefeller center, the Cathedral across from it (its incredible inside), and enjoy the electricity and vibe that NYC has to offer. There's no place like it.
