Hey guys,
I'm considering spironolactone 200 mg a day along with my current regime, which is dutasteride (Avodart) 0.5 mg a day. I'm considering it, because I've read many positive experiences about it taken along with dutasteride. Of course I did reserch about it and I've read all about (possible) side effects. I take full responsibility for myself. When I experience (serious) side effects for a long time, then I will immediately drop the drug. I never experienced side effects with dutasteride so far, so is it safe to say that I won't get side effects from spironolactone? (debunk me if I'm wrong about this idea). I'm doing pretty great with dutasteride 0.5 a day so far, but I'm afraid that my male pattern baldness will become agressive later on, and dutasteride wouldn't be effective anymore. Many guys from my father's side of the family went bald pretty fast at a young age. Also this clinical trial study in Greece gave me some hope: https://www.alopezie.de/diskussion/frauen/uploads/Spironolactone_Study_.htm
Can I just try it and check my blood regularly? What are your thoughts?
