Today I got my blood test report. LFT, KFT, CBC all were normal. My vitamin D-3 level is 27.5, which is highly deficient. The interesting thing is that my testosterone jumped from 280 to 536.

Valerate is fine too, but that has be taken orally rather than sublingually/buccally. Valerate just has slower, but more consistent levels. But, next time you should opt for it as hemihydrate since it's safer. If you are from the UK, you should order it from Shesalady.

Yeah I just noticed that Shesalady also got a restock of Bicalutamide so I’m very tempted to just stock up on a surplus since it’s cheaper there too!

You can take Valerate too, i only ordered Estrofem because i can dissolve it in my cheek to bypass my liver, having it absorb into my blood stream sublingually (since i am taking cypro and bicalutamide and don't want to put any more strain on my liver). I'm not sure what else you're on but combos like cypro + estradiol valerate aren't as safe for long term use and taking estrogen orally over buccally(dissolving in cheek)/sublingually(dissolving under the tongue) is more harmful and may increase chances of blood clotting or breast cancer, or so i've heard.

Thanks y’all! My intended regimen would be Bicalutamide 50mg, Estradiol 1-2mg (haven’t decided completely yet but probably moreseo 2mg) and dutasteride 0.5mg so it’s probably not ideal for my liver but yeah think I’ll hop on the Estrofem for the next bundle I never even realised buccal and sublingual medication was a thing until this thread!

Why does most people think we have a small window of opportunity to regrow hairs and then it's doomsday for us? I am very curious to know. VERY CURIOUS, especially when Dr. Cots specifically proved that balding scalps have the same number of stem cells as non-balding scalps.

AND, if you look at your bald spots (at least for me given 8 years of baldness), under bright LED lighting, you will see small peach fuzz hairs. Those hairs are intact and dormant.

It's not like they're not there. Same for a 50 year old. Same for a 90 year old. Those hairs are there just miniaturized and invisible to the human eye under normal lighting conditions.

I will perfectly lay out four prime examples of older folks (aged 50 or older even 90) with Norwood 7s who regrew a good portion of hairs:

Case #1 The Burning Guy:

Case #2 spironolactone Guy:

View attachment 124089

Case #3: Transgender

View attachment 124090

Case #4: 90 Year Old Man

Please elucidate....

It's just that there's a limited time for entire regrowth. If you leave it too late, the likelihood of there being a significant restoration is minimal.

I am not sure whether if I should cycle progesterone, mainly because there are some transgender women who complain about mood swings... That fears me!

What i can tell you from what i have been feeling, my mood seems to fluctuate from day to day, yesterday i felt euphoric and wonderful and today i am feeling...meh. maybe gloomy? Or maybe bored, but i cant really tell, it's unusual for me to feel bored, if thats what it is. My mood fluctuation isn't bad but it is present.

I naturally have mood-swings which become severe... I don't want them to get worse, especially since some transgender women complain of suicide ideation when cycling progesterone. I think I should stick to what I am using, and/or increase my dose of estradiol to 4mg/day.

if you take avodart only then testosterone will increase. but it is neutral without DHT. do you use minoxidil? is there anyone who doesn't use minoxidil?

I'm no longer using minoxidil, I've been off of it for 3.5 months since i started HRT, I'm attempting to observe the efficacy of my treatment without using a stimulant.

when the hair has grown, then minoxidil is not needed. but while the hair is little minoxidil is very necessary.

There's also plenty of trans women who say progesterone helped with their mood and sleep patterns. So likely a YMMV sorta thing like much of these regimens are since it's often uncharted territory and based largely on individual case studies and anecdotes.

I'm not sure, in my experience every time i came off minoxidil after using it in combination with 5-ar inhibitors, the hair would always reverse from terminal hair to miniaturized hair, i suspect because 5-ar inhibitors never helped my follicles in appearance. It could be different if i used minoxidil while on HRT, but i had to stop because it was causing retinal deterioration, my vision became muddied with long strings of cells and brown blobs over the 2 years i used minoxidil, after being off of it for almost 4 months the junk in my eyes is starting to clear up a little but it will probably take a really long time to go away completely. Vision loss is really rare with minoxidil, there was other inconveniences like heart pain etc. But going blind was the deal breaker for me.

Is your scalp dry? Mine is so dry... It was fine when I used conditioner but I can’t use conditioner anymore because it was giving me forehead acne.

Hmm, i think so, all of my skin is pretty dry now from head to toe, after the first week of being on bucalutamide i haven't had a pimple anywhere on my body for the first time since puberty started, i don't know if i have been on it long enough to know if i will experience skin flaking or other dry skin issues, does your scalp itch when its too dry? What conditioners have you tried?

My scalp itches, and gets dry flakes... I only wash my hair every four to six days, yet it still is dry! I have used silicone-free conditioners, fragrance-free conditioners and lightweight conditioners and they all break me out. I think they’re just too emollient, and clog my pores. My face is dry, but I have managed to somewhat get it in control, although in the morning my skin has absorbed every single drop of moisture/hydration and my skin is tight again. I can’t complain though, before my skin was a breeding ground for acne, and now my skin is somewhat clearing up. It makes me happy... I shouldn’t even be complaining in all honesty, but I remember reading that a dry scalp can cause issues with hair growth although I don’t know how true that is.

I cycle it because progesterone can turn into a million different things!

Well i have heard that your natural oils keep your hair healthy and strong? But i dont know if it can hinder hair growth, i wouldn'tthink it would make a big enough difference although some peoplesay oils make their hair thicker over time, i don't know what oils you've tried in your hair or if they caused you to break out, does soap cause you to break out? If not you could put just enough oil on your scalp to keep it from getting flakey and then wash your face with a soap that doesn't cause you break outs, maybe that could work to keep your skin clear, if the flaking is super bad i heard good things about nizoral shampoo used once or twice a week i don't have any other ideas off the top of my head right now.

I used nizoral a month ago and it made my scalp severely dry; I didn’t need to wash my hair for more than seven days, and it still wasn’t greasy. What is weird is that my hair doesn’t get greasy over time, it gets more dry. I normally wash it so my hair smells nice, and so there isn’t any build-up of bacteria. It’a definitely a side effect I am enjoying greatly, I can’t complain at all. Before, my hair would get greasy a few hours after washing it...

I'm really enjoying the lack of sebum production, my hair would look greasy and nasty a day or 2 after washing it, the oil would make it look flat and thinner, so it's a plus until the vellus hairs return to normal. I love that my skin isn't riddled with acne anymore i would get it on my shoulders, neck, back, legs, arms. Hated it, and now my skin is finally clear and the scars are being allowed to fade.

Before, I would have scars. And then more acne, and then more scars. It builds up and gets harder to treat! It’s even worse when it’s a cystic pimple which leaves a pitted scar. Although I am fortunate enough to not have much of those, I have a few which happened due to pimples which would stay active for a month or longer. ADT and HRT are life savers!

[QUOTE = "bridgeburn, post: 1816186, member: 130663"] интересно, мы должны практиковать ограничение белка (также показано, что это продлевает продолжительность жизни у животных)
- Может быть, поэтому многие бездомные имеют отличные волосы LOL [/ QUOTE]
