Dutasteride has worked brilliantly for me for the last five years. It has completely stopped my hair loss and has given me a good amount of regrowth. It is the only treatment I use. A large-scale Korean study also found that dutasteride had a 99.4% success rate after four years. Finasteride and dutasteride do work for the vast majority of guys who use them. This is a very well established fact.
I can write you any research in order to launch the drug on the market! Show your results before and after

how about 2mg/d estradiol alone? will it make infertile?
Who knows, i have the same question.
I was on 12,5 Cpa and 2-3 mg estro.
now, I dropped cpa and take only 2 mg estro. today the second week after i dropped cpa ( i was on this regimen 4 months). Today i still don’t jave libido, erection.

not having libido doesn't mean being infertile... libido will return after discontinuation of the drug, but if you see that size of you testicles are decreasing considerably, its not a good sign...
but i don't think that 2mg/d estradiol alone will cause unfavorable effects on testicles...
and one more thing: Cypro is said to have bad effects on liver, but estradiol valerate is not harmful to liver as much as Cypro... additionally, estradiol is more potent than Cypro in terms of antigonadotropic effects, so if you are on estradiol you would better not use cypro

Were you on any of the regimens for 6+ months?
i was taking finasteride for like 1 year. Same with the others.

Also, I was taking 12.5mg and 25mg CPA in the past (like since march 2019)
I will definitely try to add estradiol (which I was also taking but alone and I can't get it in Poland anymore).

le_dose_and_with_continuous_administration_of_oral_estradiol_or_oral_estradiol_valerate_in_women.png

normal male range estradiol is <50pg/ml... estradiol valerate 2mg/d will increase it up to 60... not so much difference

I'm 21 yo and I was on 50 mg CPA for about 2,5 months and I'm still losing hair.
My chest hair are almost gone, my skin is the best in my entire life, dick works good, i've become more emotional and I'm still losing ground.

I've been on check-up and my T is 14 (8-30 is normal) and liver is all good.

It's hard to say for me but probably nothing will save me. I'm gradually losing all hope and motivation.

I'm going to increase CPA dosage to 75 -> then check-up -> then add estradiol, but I don't believe that ANYTHING will save my hair anymore.
Oh, and you forgot to mention that you've been a lurker here since long but just created account. Never mind

if you have androgenetic alopecia, then this will not help you. It can be used in pre hrt for 1 month
yeah im suffering from androgenic alopecia... i tried finasteride 1mg/d last year for 8 months but i didnt see noticeable changes, and also it caused more sebum production on my scalp...
i have recently started Rogaine (2 times a day) + microneedling 1x/w (it has been about one month)... it seems that its working :)
and im thinking about adding 2mg/d estradiol valerate to my regimen

most people here block DHT, it doesn't stop their hairloss.

then they either go on the spironolactone/estrogen route, the cpa route, or the bica/raloxifene route. then they complain why they are still balding..

first of all spironolactone is an INSANELY weak anti androgen. 1mg of Spironolactone only blocks 0.6375ng/dl of total testosterone and it has partial agonist activity.

cyproterone doesn't reduce T that much but a lot more than spironolactone. Cyproterone by itself lowers T by around 40-70% and weakly inhibits the AR with partial agonist activity (albeit a lot stronger than spironolactone).

and then with bicalutamide. yeah this is the strongest route but I swear 90% of the people I see on bicalutamide on reddit are on letrozole/taamoxifen/raloxifene/arimidex all at the same time and at high doses. Most of the medical literature supports the theory that Bicalutamide blocks 8x more Total testosterone than spironolactone if not more. And with silent antagonist activity.

I don't like to admit it but that is a pattern I have been seeing. Most people with success including the OP of this thread initially started on Cypro and then moved to bica. I can see why people are apprehensive though. Cypro and bica at the same time is a tall order for people worried about their health. Cypro in particular is risky though I see you're taking a low dose. That's why some just opt for Bica + e withdut but even I'm not sure how effective that is. Some say to start on cypro and then quit it because the damage it does to your balls are permanent but that might allow you to move on to bica. I guess it comes down to how far you are willing to go for a maybe since nothing is guaranteed.

on of the most important issues in using any of these antiandrogen drugs, is that you should take care of your liver and regularly check your liver enzymes...
i was on spironolactone 200mg/d for 3 months... not only it didnt work but also it increased my liver enzymes by 4-5 fold... when i saw the blood test results i took it to a specialist doctor and he recommended me to stop the drug immediately... so i stopped the spironolactone and after 3 month of discontinuation i did another blood test and my liver enzymes were in normal range :)
