0.75 and damn does my scalp feel good after getting out of the shower and applying it.

My scalp and hair have not felt this healthy since I was in my early mid teens, it's definitely worth it, anyone with moderate bordering on severe hair loss (by moderate to severe, you have a larger pattern of hairloss but still have follicles there, not just bare skin. It is absolutely worth it.

In august I will show you guys a before and after pic, but my scalp had a rather large weakened patch of hair loss/weakness, so bad as I will remind that I couldn't grow my hair out. It would have just looked thin and scraggly and otherwise awful.

I do believe the PRP and then sticking with the Beta Sitosterol and other things I was using kind of carried my scalp until I could get the estrogel, but I feel like even this alone, I don't need to work so hard to combat testosterone anymore, and like I said my scalp just feels good, and so does my hair. I don't even know how to describe it except both feel healthy.

I am going to try something experimental coming up soon, and for that I will require enhanced DHT inhibition methods, but I think it will help not just my hair but my skin as well if I do it right.

But yes, if you have moderate to early severe stages of hairloss, absolutely try to get your hands on estrogel, it will not disappoint you.

Do you have any pictures of your growth with topical E?

That will be coming in august, a full hair growth cycle takes about 5-6 months, so assuming all goes to plan and nothing bad happens in between I should have some excellent regrowth.

Right now it's more about the inhibition of shedding, it's stopping quite abruptly and I can already see the difference.

Even my wife is like "holy sh*t this stuff is turning your hair around".

i have a question, finasteride feminize a men or not ?

Some claim this but it generally raises T some or even significantly. Many find that it does the opposite of feminization and increases libido and perhaps increases "prowess", i.e, you might have better, firmer erections and you might become even more of a horn-dog. People have to read both sides of the RI debate because only one side is vocal.

In my opinion, people who use these often succumb to the placebo/nocebo effect. They know they are taking an anti-androgen so yes, it affects them. Someone mentions brain fog on a thread and now they are claiming, I got a C in math and I used to be an A student. They can't get it up due to extreme lack of confidence which is concurrent and cannot be easily distinguished from what many balding males experience without any meds. <raises hands>

I thoroughly and all but unabashedly recommend finasteride or duta for virtually everyone. I took both for a time but that is overkill if you can get duta since it is more effective on all types of the three main reductases. Progesterone also reduces reductase but it's not very well tested or acknowledge yet and that too is an anti-androgen. Baldness is almost always a hormonal phenomenon and all of the best treatments are hormonal: Keto, finasteride, duta, CPA, MPA, spironolactone, bica and other 'mides and possibly also Min although we don't know exactly how min works. Then we have the various estrogen metabolites, CEE's and synthetic estrogens like ethinyl estradiol. But every single med that I have mentioned needs to be used at least weekly and really daily for life. That always freaks young folks out and I get that. The key to male palliatives is don't overthink them and just go one day at a time and have a back-up plan before you start.

Some claim that any or all of the meds above made then "bald". Well, probably not but DIY'ers could theoretically set off some sort of endocrine cascade that is difficult to get back on course from but this seems to happen more so to cis-females. Also nothing that I have said above applies to cis-females. Estriol might indeed vastly help cis-female hair loss but cis-females are not swimming upstream meaning that there are many inertial factors that might make tiny amounts of spironolactone and min work great for them so I don't want to dissuade any females or folks committed to the hormonal path for life. So when I say MtF, here, I am not talking about gender identification, only the direction one is going meaning FtM's go one direction in dealing with hair loss and MtF's go the other direction. I think Bridge's protocol will work for many, many people essentially for life. Also once fibrosis is gone, then things like estriol might work for maintenance.

The owner of the site wrote a fantastic article on shedding and why it occurs and how to best minimize it but he too indicates that people have to plow through sheds although they might be ameliorated or avoided but starting first to attack only inflammation cause that could be enough. I maintained for at least four years using only Polysorbate 60 and 80 until min was released in the mid to late 80's. So yes, there are studies on Head and Shoulders and Selsun Blue, and Keto showing that they reduce inflammation. So does anything that ends in 'zole but except for the blue shampoos, the 'zole are slightly estrogenic and used for yeast reduction for both males and females. Many folks start out on Athlete's Foot and female yeast infection products and they might help a little.

But I hold the big three in very high regard especially for the young and always for maintenance, just not for copious regrowth which seldom happens the farther we all are from puberty. I appreciate the question to allow me to clarify.

I'm back on 200mg spironolactone 6mg estrofem .5 dutasteride and 10mg oral minoxidil every other day, and 1 Diane pill once per week. I've noticed little temple hairs thickening recently.

I have to be very selective with my shirts.. and I can never go to the beach or a waterpark with my shirt off ever again

dunno. maybe he didn't take E with it? maybe it did help some but he didn't realize or it took time. Diane has just 2mg cypro in it as well. Different things work for different people.

cypro plus 4mg estradiol is better than bica plus # < 2mg and bica plus # > 2mg is better than cypro plus 4mg.

Bica without a 5ARi is just dumb. It literally kills off all follicles if you use bica alone :')

its bad enough that i won't show a pic.

depends on the dose. there was a time when i took 3mg of Estradiol from only gel form which means that one 80g tube at .06% (2.5g=1.5 or 5g=3) will last 16 days, more recently ive used most e dose in Pill form combined with 1.5mg estradiol in gel so the tube will last 32 days.

For the past few months ive just been taking 6mg in only pill form. (plus diane once a week or so).

I doubt itll get that good, especially since we never had that hairline even befpre any hairloss.. who knows, maybe he just has a smaller head too?

thats what it does. it happens to upregulate genes which are found downregulated in balding scalp and downregulates genes which are found to upregulated in balding scalp.

in theory you wouldn't need estrogen if we were to find a right combo of things which hit all the same hairy genes.

you have genetics from both sides. but yes, which genes are turned on or off can change from exposure to certain substances.

200mg spironolactone(100mg 2x a day) , 6mg buccal estrofem(2mg tablet 3x a day), 0.5mg dutasteride once a day.
10mg oral minoxidil once a day, every other day.
and a Diane 35 pill once a week

Raloxifen instead of true exogen E2 ... hmm..

i love my E2, my hair loves E2 ... my brain loves it ...
but gyno and prolactine are very pronounced .. Prolactine, progesterone, estradiol makes a great female breast... thats it, what happen to me... my hair are NW1 .. but breast are very developed into B/C cup.. :/

Ive read of people saying tamox causing hairloss but also that raloxifene is better for some reason. and I think several nonbinaries use it with Hrt for androgynie like you said. I havent heard of hair issues with them

theres some discussion on this site about but seems consesus on if its good or bad for hair isnt clear.

The thing I'd be most worried about is its Gonadotrophin increase, supposedly 20% increase in testosterone in some studies but this could be countered by taking estradiol with it.

Why many MtF's do not embrace Serms and why cis-males should be wary. at page 86.

i think i might be one of the only one who actually took raloxifen ..
I took it for 2.5 month ( legit ralox) while on dutasteride , and it didn't do anything for my finasteride induced gyno, the gyno is even worse ...
And my hairline is worse too

I could take an after photo but all you will see is a guy with some difuse thinning especially in the temples. The last two weeks Ive been super tired because I took a week off e and then resumed at only 0.75 mg. So something Ive just realized is that I need to be at least at 1.25 mg of estradiol a day otherwise my energy levels tank because without enough testosterone or estrogen you will feel like complete sh*t.

Many MtF's allege this.

Actually this was the one I tried. Its weird because it has estradiol which is supposed to be prescription only. It must be a weak version of estradiol.

Menopausal creams seem to be exempt from prescription requirements regardless of type re to the main three E's.

See what I have written about the inter-sex aspects that are often seen from high E levels. Many keep plowing away and probably more so if they use Serms which might not be good for hair at all. This is all an endless maze for "males".
