What? Fuller cheeks, which are more defined, is a particularly female trait. I did have more prominent cheekbones to begin with, but estrogen has added more to it.
and how much your testosterone makes up its active form dihydrotestosterone?
Я на dutasteride, поэтому я позволю вам догадаться об этом. Мой фактический уровень тестостерона составляет 136 нг / дл ... Бикалутамид также влияет на DHT. [/ QUOTE]
This is a lot! Your cheekbones are from him! And not from estrogen, estrogen on the contrary narrows the shape of the face and does not make it more manly!

I'm on dutasteride, so I will let you guess that. My actual testosterone levels is 136 ng/dL... Bicalutamide does have an effect on DHT too.
it's just like testosterone drives muscle mass up and increases shoulders, cheekbones. On the contrary, estrogen deprives you of muscle mass at the top, but gives wide hips, muscle mass in the thighs, affects the bones by expanding them in the thighs because it attracts men!

I never said it’s made my face more manly, it has just made my cheeks fuller and there is more definition...

Try mode 2.5 finasteride + 2 estradiol

I used a similar regimen for one year. (2018 aug. - 2019 jun.) 5 mg fina + 1,5mg topical estradiol, but it doesn't work. My hairloss stopped in 2018 dec. for 2-3 months then restarted.
Tolerance? I may need to cypro..
[/ QUOTE]

yes when you use any anti-androgen over a long period of time your nuts can shrink and you will become infertile.

Anti-androgens can't cause infertility, although estrogen definitely will. Spironolactone at high-doses is known to cause testicular atrophy, but with reversible fertility.

Bicalutamide 50mg, Cyproterone Acetate 12.5mg and Estrofem 1mg x2 a day sublingually & Estrogel .75 mg x2 a day until i run out of Estrogel.

An SAA and NSAA at the same time?! What changes are you having, by the way? Skin changes?

If it bothers you, do what you like, i'm infertile after 3 months and i don't care.

Me too! I am hoping to get an orchiectomy... Testosterone is making me become mentally unstable, and makes me go through severe episodes of derealisation... I am hoping my endocrinologist can at least refer me to a gender specialist, where they can let me have an orchiectomy... Because at this rate, I might end up doing a surgical procedure at home :( I didn't want it to get to that point, but I don't feel like I can live life properly knowing if I ever get lost in a jungle or kidnapped, I won't have my medications and I will go bald!!!

i have derealization and depersonalization and often look at life in a 3rd person perspective with a feeling that i don't really exist and life is but a dream, but its not from my testosterone its from all the DMT, LSD and NBoMe i used to do lol; But back to the topic Don't worry @Ikarus, i bet the dr will let you do it, i wouldn't recommend doing it at home though, it would be too hard lol at least for me, but i dont think there will be a time where you would be without hormones for a year, it would take as long to go away as it did to grow back and you are a good responded to AAs so even if you were without AAs for 3 months, and at 3 months you would likely just be thinning again and it wouldn't take you long to go back to nw0 after getting back on the regimen.

I suffer with quite severe derealisation, until the point that there is no point on living because I can’t understand what living is anymore. It’s one of the most horrible feelings... When I wake up in the morning, I look outside my window feeling lost and confused; throughout the day, it’s a sensation that I’m a soul inside of a shell.

I just want an orchiectomy and for this battle to be over, once and for all... I know it’s unfair that I have been dealt these cards by life, but I don’t want to be miserable about it. If an orchiectomy will put me at ease, and make me feel more comfortable about myself, I don’t think they should deny it... I just need a referral, and I will deal with the costs.

lol this is probably not something to talk about on a hair loss forum but.. when did your derealization/depersonalization start? did it start happening from traumatic stress due to losing your hair and feeling like you have no control over your life/body anymore, or did it start before from something else? i think that's when mine started happening, when i began to feel hopeless and confused, i think it started with me losing my hair and then progressed to every other aspect of my life, not knowing why i exist or if my self awareness is an illusion that will one day cease to happen with no knowledge or memory that this thing that i call "I" was ever self aware, or if everything is a dream or if i am even real, and a constant worry that i am going mad telling myself that i am not going crazy and feelings that everything is an illusion. hair loss probably kick-started this mental illness of mine and my idea is that if i can get back to nw0 then the trauma in my mind will go away, but i can't be sure that is how it will turn out. --to anyone else who reads this i'm avoiding psychiatry until i deem it an absolute necessity.

Definitely not due to hair loss, there are significantly worse circumstances... Hair loss was just the cherry on top of the cake! It started years ago, and never seemed to stop; it’s as if I am living in a never-ending dream. I understand how you feel, especially with feeling ‘crazy’ - that is what seemingly is a significant issue nowadays, since it occurs too often! I don’t want a therapist, because I feel as if I am strong enough to deal with my issues myself; this is definitely a bad mindset to have, but I can’t help it!

it's not all bad if you still have enough control to function properly then i wouldn't say you need a therapist. Logic is probably the only thing that keeps me sane or grounded to reality, whatever that is. as long as i have a strong grip on logic i can avoid therapy too because logic will tell me what thoughts/feelings are real and which ones likely aren't real. --i feel like people are gonna start hating on me for going too far off the hair loss topic -- sorry

They won’t; you are expressing the negative consequences of hair loss. It’s good to have somewhat of an outlet where people can relate, because it does help... Nonetheless, the only thing which keeps me sane is researching; whether if it’s about hair loss, acne, YouTube, I just like to keep my mind on something. If my mind goes off track, that’s when hell breaks loose!

Not necessarily true. In males the depletion of testosterone can cause infertility, as can raising estrogen (which likewise limits testosterone). If the potential to have kids is important for anyone considering these semi-mtf regimens, I'd recommend banking some sperm just in case.

How possible do you guys think it is to get ANY regrowth by just carefully amping up estrogen and not touching DHT/T levels.....

seems unrealistic but got I want @bridgeburn 's gains.

I have just ordered some dexamethasone (thoughts on that?) to increase aromatase activity cause I feel like thats one of the most important
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9284093

My current approach is trying to go for the androgen receptor with Fisetin and Baicalin in a oil-in-water transdermal cream with a bunch of other stuff

Fisetin:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18922931
Baicalin:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24496985

Then why is my FSH significantly below typical male ranges?

Where did you source topical dexamethasone? Is this protocol working for u?
