A significant decrease in serum DHEA-S levels was observed after the 6th cycle of treatment, and they also showed a downward trend. After the 3rd cycle a very significant increase in SHBG concentration was observed.
after 3 and 6 months

this sounds similar to how I used to be lol.

probably similar to how women are traditionally thought of as inferior, the media tends to glorify testosterone and talk sh*t about estrogen.. Usually, estrogen is unfairly criticized based on studies regarding its combination with synthetic progestins or the type of estrogens extracted from horse piss..

and maybe society doesn't want people to realize that hormones actually do the powerful things that they do, or else it might give a modicum of validation to transgender people. something related to a touchy political subject is prone to be avoided.

the common image being that transpeople are all feminine promiscious gay guys who have fake boobs and surgeries.. (and transmen don't exist)

Another reason is likely residual religious elements which linger in our culture.. Men are not supposed to use estrogen or anything estrogenic or even want to.. and the behavior of men in particular is more restricted. If a women has metallica on her ipod its normal, if she has celine dion or sappy love songs its also normal. If a man has the former , he might get made fun of.

If a women isn't weak, good for her she's strong and independent, If a women is weak, its cute. If a man is weak he's a pussy.

I think i've said this before somewhere in the massive thread? but if so I'll say it again.
Men are not allowed to care about vanity in anyway except muscles.. Women wear makeup, fake eyelashes, get peach fuzz removed, shave thier legs, shape thier eyebrows and all kinds of riddiculous fake sh*t but sure, men are vain if they care about a part of thier body literally f*****g dying. Even men on this hairloss forumn occasionally come onto this thread freaking out and calling us psychotic.

Not many with credentials gives a sh*t that we are losing hair.. The only 2 FDA approved medications against hairloss, finasteride and min were discovered by accident while being used to treat something else...

and the research into estrogen and hair usually encourages the use of creating new estrogens which are acceptable for men to take.. but ain't nobody got time for that.
men often feel wrong or that they are not allowed to take real estrogen until they find this thread.

probably it would have regrown alot because high amounts of E alone can lower testosterone into castration range, and estradiol inhibits 5ar to a small extant (but not nearly as much as finasteride/dutasteride), it also increases SHBG which could help mop up some DHT (at least in the bloodstream).. But i believe more is necessary for maximum results and it works synergistically. a 5ar inhibitor is important because the follicles produce 5ar themselves, and its possible to have high androgenic activity in specific locations regardless of the overall system becasue of enzymes.

Particularly the temples need, absolutely need, to have everything thrown at them together in order to have a chance of recovering, ie. receptor blockers plus estrogen plus dutasteride plus progesterone plus minoxidil, maybe some dermaneedling too.. even then its not guareenteed
Couldnt say it better. f*** this society. I trim and bleach my body hair. All people around me stare at me and ask me why would I do it. I do it to not look like a chimpanzee. All of them laugh behind my back (except for two of my friends), but I couldnt care less.
My neighbour's son is now bald. He didnt take meds, because thats how manliness works fucktards.
I am sick of the double-standards. Women wearing wigs is acceptable, but men no no no! You are a man! Even if you have the solution, you must not use it to your advantage because MANLINESS.

The end of my rant lol. f*****g fucked fucks manly men my ***.
We are the real men, we search and do research to find solutions to our problems and accept the risks to get rewards, like a f*****g man they say!
And people visiting this thread claiming we are dumb to have found a cure for hair loss, this disease is literally called ANDROGENIC Alopecia. Get rid of these androgens, you get rid of this disease. Its that simple, the cure is in this thread.

More power to you guys, you are changing peoples' lives. Take me as an example :p

How are your boobies right now? interesting that you said estrogel has increased your orgasm and libido, im on spironolactone and my orgasms are sh*t. Is there any scientific data that shows estrogen increases the strength of orgasms?

Boobies should be your last concern due to two reasons: 1) you can easily remove them by surgery 2) boobies are awesome :p

lol true, i was just interested in how bad his gyno has become after two years or so of his regimen. But you are right, gyno surgery is always an option, probably cheaper than a hair transplant too.

not that i know of.. but there's evidence that estrogen increases dendrite spikes of neurons.
pretty much everything feels more intense on estrogen

Like a pimple? In the last I get some bumps/pimples that go away on their own.

Lads, how much would you rate the difficulity of getting a prescription for bica on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 the easiest, 10 the hardest?

It's easier than getting estrogen on prescription. I would put it as a seven out of ten...

And yes, it's kind of like a 'pimple' except I can't see it but I can feel the bump where it's itching.

I meant easier*, sorry! Estrogen is one of the harder medications to get on prescription if you are a male since there are side effects such as infertility. In fact, I could say bicalutamide is slightly harder since estrogen is actually prescribed to transgender women...

.5mg dutasteride, 6mg buccal estrofem, 1.5mg estrogel.
Every other day, 10mg oral minoxidil. topical finasteride/min solution on the other every other days
one Diane pill on Monday and Friday.
100mg oral progesterone first 10 nights of the month
Thanks for updating: You might remember my situation with estrogel: Blood tests showed I had very high estrone sulfate but normal estradiol (~335 : 35). I'm wondering if a modest dose of oral progesterone would be better for me (30-50 mg a day). There aren't too many anectodes from those using progesterone but I don't know why. As I understand it, progesterone will 1) inhibit conversion of T to DHT; 2) stimulates folicle growth; 3) and reduces T production. So why aren't more people incorporating progesterone into their regimens?
