i'm extremely depressed about being bald and seriously considered HRT but i already have beta gay face. and man boobs would make it all pointless, as would a feminine face (i think? honestly seems like girls would prefer a femme dude over a bald guy)
I mean it is possible to get gyno surgery. keep a low weight, etc.

or just go femme. Some pansexuals somewhere would like it

Everything is a gamble, but what you know for sure is that the current situation is unacceptable.

life's so f*****g meaningless as a 5'6 bald guy but my inhibitions are way too high to really do anything

Don't do it exodus, unless you are truly comfortable living as an androgynous / feminine man.

Do me a favor and go look up a guy on YouTube called PsychedSubstance. He also operates another channel called SWIM.

He's delusional about what caused his hair loss, but otherwise his story isn't all that different from yours in that his hair loss started early on, his hair was like a big part of his identity, he's on the shorter side, and he was bald enough to where he had to shave his head in his early 20s. I'm not saying this is a great idea or anything but he started working on his physique and then eventually started going out to bars and to music festivals and sh*t while rolling on molly and just started talking to and getting rejected by random girls until he got to the point where he was comfortable making new friends and just talking to people. A few years later he's got a wife that is good to him and decently hot, plus a few kids (not a bonus in my opinion but to each their own, idk what you want for your life with that). Like honestly getting yourself out there no matter how you do it is gonna be life changing for you

My whole life changed when I started transitioning and I was sort of forced out of my comfort zone, yeah I had really good regrowth but the much bigger factor in my shift in perspective was that I did a sh*t load of psychedelics and really looked inwards and just started putting myself out there. Like for a long time because of me being trans (and a receded hairline trans at that) I thought I'd be forever alone lol but life isn't that simple.

I'm not trying to come off like one of those "just hit the gym brah" people especially since I have recovered so much that it feels like maybe not my place to give this sort of advice. I'm aware that I'm speaking from a place of privilege, but... There's actually studies that show MDMA can help with PTSD and that magic mushrooms / ketamine have lasting antidepressant effects which are more effective than typical SSRI medications and have immediate results.

Rather see you potentially have a bad trip or no results (and waste like $40 in the process i guess) than start popping titty pills in a vain attempt to fix your mental space when the solution may be a lot simpler

Try spironolactone and cypro before going on to a full fledged trans regimen.

For height you might want to look into limb(leg) lengthening. Note that you can at max get 5 inches more - so it'd be 5'11 for you. If you think you won't be satisfied w that, just don't go for it as the 1 month of surgery will give you the most excruciating pain of your life.

come to think of it, many report losing an inch or so of height on Hrt, supposedly due to ligament changes/ pelvic tilt. so that'd probably be horrible for Exodus

Um..many have seen results just by Androgen blocking, although they may not match full HRT results.

Height shrinking is unlikely unless you fill your body with estrogen, as it would result in closure of all growth plates.

Also, 1 or 2cm loss isn't that bad for full head of hair, is it?

Lol no health issues - only gyno on 100mg Bica, which could be tackled with Raloxifene.

I went from being around 5'10.5 to being 5'9 on the dot after a couple years of HRT. Massive pelvic tilt to the point where when it started happening I had real issues walking for a few days. Hip bones themselves didnt even really grow that much I don't think

This pelvic tilt could be fixed with exercises right?

I'm 5'6, I'll probably shrink to 5'5... It's alright though, it's a trade I'm willing to take.

I'd much rather spend money on buying beautiful clothing pieces and cosmetics, whilst on these medications, to properly complete an androgynous appearance than spend money on a hair transplant which will most likely fail as the years ago by. Although, I have been thinking of getting a hair transplant to lower my hairline; I would feel much more confident with a hairline an inch lower down.

In my case it’s lack of that make my skin look bad.

Androgens completely wrecked havoc on my skin. For those who have seen images of my skin prior to starting AAs and HRT, they will see the true effect androgens have on the skin. If they see my skin after taking AAs and HRT, they will see the true effect ADT and estrogen has on the skin. And, it's safer than using Accutane!

Hi ! I am 26 years old man from Indonesia. I have been balding for the last 7-8 years. 2 years back when I noticed I was thinning in Norwood 6 pattern, I realised dutasteride isn’t working for me. I immediately jumped on spironolactone 200 mg. In the starting everything looked promising. However, ultimately my hair loss catch up. Now I have a visible bald spot on my crown and the corners of my hairline have badly receded. What shall be my next move? What treatment I should take to regrow my bald crown?
