Honestly, i'll just try to maintain what i have atp. Fringe makes me look like I'm not bald, and thats enough for me. Recent health issues made me realise that im not immune to twink death (or death in general), so I decided I'd rather invest in health, than in beauty (which both refuse to coexist with each other in my case).
Yeah I guess it hits different when you get health issues. Im am still youn and healthy so for now hair is still my priority. Maybe when I get older and if I get sick then things will change. Hope you ger better soon

i just looked at a bunch of old videos and in addition to better hair, my face appears to have gotten much more attractive this past year on bica. maybe year 2-3 of estradiol had some factor in this but i presume adding bica and other skincare factors is carrying.

i hope i still have a long way to go as far as looking better tbh, i’m still not satisfied

After 6 months of taking HRT i changed my regimen from dutasteride, oral mim, cpa and estradiol sublingual 6 mg(divided in 5 times) to dutasteride+ oral min + Bica, Een injections. My hair started to improve after 3-4 months, prob due to stopping cpa and having more stable e2 levels. It kept improving till 2 year mark where I added more bica and everything got fucked again, but I managed to fix it recently and now I have good hair again.

Most likely

I also had that pattern on dutasteride and OM
yeah i think stable levels are really useful for hair growth and to avoid sheds.
i mean roller coster levels could make you shed a lot (?)

I think if your levels does not fluctuate too much and stay at least within 200+ pg/ml i dont think it should affect hair enough. The issue with sublingual for example is that you can have 500 pg/ml and within 2 hours you fan have 50 pg/ml(too low e2)

Im sorry to say but nothing will work for you if not even dutasteride did anyting positive for your hair. It did work at first for adri23. But for us it did NADA. By the end I took 2mg x3 weekly still did nothing and just accelerated my thinning. Thats 12 dutasteride pills per week.

But 2 mg three times a week is like .85 mg per day. It is less than 1 mg. I think 1 mg is not even enough for aggressive balders that are not using HRT

That is not that much tho. With 1 mg daily I was taking 14 pills per week

If your hair loss is only on temples, dutasteride wont regrow sh*t. There are not many treatment that recovers hairline.

My gains were mostly from OM. After my androgenic alopecia got more aggressive with time it made my minoxidil gains to fade away.

Its diffuse so im jumping on oral min and finasteride again. Despite getting sides.

you never took hrt. your experience doesn't apply to us. stop pretending like it does. you aren't reversing the basic mechanism of androgen-genetic alopecia so you aren't recovering sh*t.

It should stop male pattern baldness for most people tbh. I have seen very aggressive young balders recover a sh*t load of hairs with dutasteride or finasteride + minoxidil. People who need dutasteride and all hrt drugs in the world to stop male pattern baldness are in a minority tbh.

If every androgen is nuked, androgenic alopecia should not be an issue , but you need to know if you have them low from time to time by doing blood test. Sometimes dht spikes or androstenedione or DHEA-S and you wont know why, but you will always need to find something that works if it ever happens. Bodies are constantly changing, so you have to adapt if something changes.

I'd use bica but if spironolactone works for you then all good. The thing is stuff can change with time but maybe not because of androgens but because let's say your stomach or intestines dont work as good as before or god knows what could happen. We are living things, our bodies start to get older with time and things does not work the same.

i dont want to do blood test i just want to forget about it

Like doing blood test like every year is not expensive and wont do anything bad. You should do them anyways to check your health because you are on too many meds chronically.

Bicalutamide
