Dunno guys, I decided to listen to you and give Bica another chance. I crushed Bica tablets and put them into capsules to mb avoid stomach irritation it caused me last time. I think it indeed helped with irritation, but today I woke up with sharp pain in my left kidney area. I never felt kidney pain until now, was really bad. Today is the 3rd day on this drug, I took 50mg total and I felt terrible all day. Never again...
I get it. mb I'm just one of a few unlucky ones totally intolerant to it, but the amount of sides it already given me makes me wonder tbh.

It's ok to not use bica if you dont have any short of adrenal T production or some of that stuff. Tbh if you dont have weird conditions all you need is estradiol and maybe just maybe dutasteride for stubborn dht if there is any or if you use prog and want to avoid some conversion in case it happens

Aight im gonna pay for those ones. Hope they are not that expensive hehe. If they are in range I wouldn't know where to aim to lower that dht honestly, I think I have tried almost everything hormone related. My body just turned on a switch and I cant turn it off

I had around 11ng/dl DHT last time i measured. My hair is ok, but kinda became more coarse lately, so I decided to try Bica to see how it effects my hair. Hair indeed became much softer after 3 days, so It proved my point. At least I got that covered. =(

11 ng /dl is ok, you can have better chances with dutasteride than with bica because it also gives you side effects.

Dunno why I did this sh*t.. I already paid for blood tests, and I feel they're gonna be all fked because of this fkin drug.

Dunno, I tried 2mg Duta for 2 months with only E, it didn't do sh*t for some reason, worked same as 0.5.

Damn 2 mg is a good dosage. Weird it didnt do anything. But you know bica will be good if you have kinda high free T, wont do that much for dht unless you use like 50 mg or more daily which I think it will make you sick if you are already sick after 3 days. Also bica dries my skin too much. I really want to stop bica but Im afraid my minoxidil hypertrichosis will get worse(it's already kinda bad to be on hrt)

IF your hair is fine on the stack you are on, then don’t do any changes. If you are happy with your hair and it looks/feels good, no changes are needed. Just stick to your stack.

I just wanted to ask, why metformin and melatonin? For their other benefits? You have problem with your blood sugar, for example? I would personally remove them if it’s for hair. There are studies for both that shows they inhibit aromatase activity. Also, taurine can enhance testosterone production and that’s same for zinc. Sorry, but I personally see if something can potential affect hair when adding it. My suggestion for someone is to only add supplements when they have deficiencies and they really need it. Every factor, every change can contribute to hair loss.

*This is just my experience. I tried adding supplements all these years without thoroughly researching how they affect aromatase, testosterone, etc., and they were affecting my hair, causing it to shed more and become thinner. Of course, every person is different and it will be different for everyone.

*I'm not trying to be an expert, I'm just telling my experience. For others, something that didn't help me may help them and vice versa.

But again, if your hair is doing great with your current regimen, no changes are needed.

Topical minoxidil with Tretinoin. There isn’t any other substantial hair growth booster like minoxidil. All others are doing almost nothing.

Low dose max 3mg dont give bloated or red face. U are experiencing a placebo effect most likely. I rather be bald than to be a slave to topical min or any other topical.

Thing is if you are gonna use estradiol bica is best. But if not bica can be an issue if you have aromatization issues, cause T normally aromatize into T, but if you have a sh*t aromatase enzyme like me, all the T will just be transformed into DHT so you will need dutasteride 100%, but you will end with no main hormone. If your body is good at aromatizing T you will end up with highish e2(not sure how much since I've never tried bica mono + im bad aromatizer) which will be worse than using estradiol + bica cause if you want to make bica works on a T dominant body you will indeed need large bica dosages and you will risk liver issues.

On the other hand cpa is better lowering T alone but has lot of side effect + prolactin elevations that could destroy your hair and even increase DHEA-S.

Imo if you are going for the oral anti androgen route it's best to use estradiol + dutasteride cause antiandrogens alone or combined with dutas is not good long term cause your body need a main hormone to be healthy + you will run liver issues eventually.

For short term you have expensive sh*t like GnRH agonists which will shut down T production but again you wont have any sex hormone and you will have troubles

Okay going to the derm tomorrow.. this is gonna be a long message.. I know it’s not facts but I like all your opinions on this.. okay reflex hyperandro is real trust me and if you don’t agree that’s fine but for the sake of this convo let’s say it’s real.. the body unregulates and either makes the dht become more or makes more dense 5ar.. so tons of questions here.. do you think it would be permanent?? I’m on finasteride now again after 20 years and so far no oil face no crazy sex drive like before but 4 months in still shedding like I said so idk if it’s reflex kicking back in what do you think?? Also ppl said use dutasteride its stronger and blocks 1 and 2 but if reflex is real if finasteride did it to me wouldn’t dutasteride do it times ten?? I take 1.2mg a day and it still bloats my face the next morning I wake up with a red puffy face too, since I stopped it’s gone

Top dutasteride doesn’t work there’s research on it, it doesn’t enter the scalp so it’s pointless

So as far as reflex hyperandro and I did get it.. heres a good question I got it back 20 years ago when I was 21 took finasteride and bam sex drive went up so bad I had to jack off like 8 times a day I got upper arm hair growth and watched tonsssss of hair far I remember lookin at it come out and just not grow back at all not even miniurized.. here I am 20 years later 4 months on finasteride hair shedding still no stability but no crazy sex drive this time no oily face.. why is that??

Could just be because finasteride lowers DHT but increases T. With aging, T declines and even if T increases lt wouldnt big high enough than when you were in your twenties

Oh dang that makes sense.. I was always kinda wondering maybe at 21 I wasn’t fully done with puberty because I still had no upper leg hair and I’d shave my face and it would take a week to start coming back in but now it’s stubbled in 5 hours..

So what do you think if I’m not using Bica estro just dutasteride alone would it give me reflex hyperandro since finasteride did?? You’d kinda think if I got it on finasteride 20 years ago and 4 months in now 20 years later I’m still shedding then wouldn’t dutasteride make it literally 10 times worse ??
