Yesterday I did my first workout in about 2 months as I was just taking a break over the christmas period. Its amazing how much strength and tone you lose in such a short period, I felt really weak and looked fat! Anyway this was my first hard workout in 2 months and im very sore today, I did some dead lifts and seated rows etc. I was quite curious to see how my hair would react to this sudden increase in physcial activty, as my hair for the past month has been GREAT, very little to no shedding and reasonably thick. So to my relief, I only found 2 hairs on my pillow this morning, but when i was applying my Rogaine Foam for the day about 20 minutes later, I was applying it to my crown and mid scalp region, I was working it in with my fingers as I normally do and as I pulled my hand away to my shock and dismay there was about 20-30 hairs sticking to my fingers and in my hand! Thats the stuff nightmares are made of! Anyway when I was working out heavily last year, I never had anything happen like this when I applying the foam, so I know for a fact working out does not cause or speed up hairloss, if anything it helps. However there is no doubt in my mind that the yesterdays heavy workout resulted in this bigger than normal shed the next morning, its highly inprobable that its a coincidence, because I monitor this kind of thing very intensly everyday. What could cause this? The sudden influx of Growth Hormorne or Testosterone? Either way its not going to deter me from working out as I know it will stabilize as soon as I get back into my regular routine. But damn! And I dont want anyone trying to tell me its a coincidence or its all in my head either, I am very observant and meticulous when it comes to this kinda stuff :nono:
