Sinere should really have addressed all these issues before releasing the Flutagel. Now we, the paying public, are a bunch of guinea pigs while they test for absorption etc

I'm still using my intial supply of two old-style bottles - I haven't seen the new stuff, I hope it isn't too hopeless.

Then you are in for a big suprise. This stuff is horrible. I applied it yesterday all over my scalp and today My whole scalp was covered in white residue and snowing all over.

I think the original flutagel leaves some flakes the next morning? I'm not too bothered because I use it before bed then get up and get in the shower. I'm more bothered that it keeps working as well, I have no problems with the old style so I wish they didn't change it.

I am getting a little regrowth on the hair line with this now after only 2 months so I'm looking forward to the 6 month mark. Unless the new stuffs not as good!

I got a lot of flaking on the first bottle - eventually I realised I was using way too much and not rubbing it into the scalp thoroughly. I'll be ordering the new stuff in a couple of weeks - so we'll see.

they may not be only doing it for side affects, the problem with flutamide is it absorbs into the system to quickly the thicker the gel the slower it absorbs over nights and hence staying localized longer. i think you should only be applying it at night anyway so whats wrong with the white flakes just shower it off in morning before you go out. if its to liquidly it may not stay localized long enough, so I wouldn't be worried if you got results from the first batch it not working the thicker it gets. the only problem i see people having is the thicker it gets the harder it is to get to scalp, but ive always said if you have male pattern baldness and use topicals everyday you should stick to a hair length no longer then half inch so you can get everything to your scalp better.

I'm also quietly optimistic - I'm just over the two month mark and am definitely seeing hair where there hasn't been hair for several years. And I don't mean crappy minoxidil type vellus hair - I mean terminal and enough of them to note very sparse areas on my scalp filling in. I have a double-crown, a strip of hair with balding on each side and I can definitely gauge the regrowth from that - each spot is filling in, at the moment the right more so than the left. But the left spot has been thin for many years now - it would be a miracle to get that back.

I didn't get this much regrowth on 18 months of that sh*t Rogaine.

I agree with you that this stuff works. I have a definitive proof but why oh why did the have to change the viscosity?? maybe there is some way to make it more watery without changing its effectivness?? Add some water?

Phish,

Yeah I just put about 6-7 squirts on my scalp every night before bed. I shave my head every week so I don't have a problem with it getting in my hair.

Because I'm seeing results I would be happy to try it morning as well but you just can’t get away with the flakes.

yea i think you should just stay at once a day, your being smart and keep hair short, to many guys try to keep their hair grown long and use topicals, you waste to much product so you will spend more money then you have to and you wont be geting it to your scalp as well as you could with short hair so your not gona get as good of results. Im thinking of ordering this weeknd and making it last all summer just useing a film coat at night all over my buzz cut.

Got my Flutagel!

Mines came in a green cap and white bottle, the gel has a very light green tint to it. The thickness isn't too bad, reminds me of baby food...

It did take me a while to apply it but I do have long hair.

damn I like the old one so much better but I don't thing they will go back to that. That sucks!

That's a totally different bottle and gel vs. what I got. My bottle was just like their Nanominox bottles and the gel was clear, or clearish-white. I was one of the first ones to order the Flutagel.

Does it leave the same flaky white stuff (cellulose) after it dries??

The new flutagel leaves a bit more residues but dries faster, compared to the old gel.
I found a way how to apply it easier behind the hairline for longer hair: just mix it with a few drops of water. I has bidistillater water in it, so I don't think that it will affect effectiveness.

Yes, it leaves behind a thin film. I don't see how I can style my hair if I have it on..

no way you can style your hair while you have it on. I hate it!!!
Why would they go against what customers want??? Their old version was perfect!
No sides, effective and left little to almost non visible residue. If they wont go back or at least keep selling the old version to customers that want it I am going back to fluridil.

I received my flutagel last week and used it three times so far. I've been using it at night before bed, and washing it off in the morning. I wish it was a gel but we get what we get I guess. I have nothing to judge it off of cause it's the first time I ordered it. The other thing is, how the hell do you know if you put on enough of it or not?? I've been using about a quarter size amount in my hand then spreading around the top of my head.... Is this 1ml?? who knows....lol....Has anyone had any luck with fluridil?

im still not totally convinced if flutagel will work for anyone at all.. All topicall anti-androgens like spironolactone, dutasteride or flutamide solutions have never worked at least i've never seen anyone seing improvements from any so far.

Anyone here knows what type of Gel are they using in Flutagel or Finasgel?? Theses 2 just remember me of the Aloe Vera and Dutasteride mix without systematic effects....

Other ingredients:
bidistilled water
ethanol
hydroxypropyl methylcellulose
glyceryl oleate
salt (NaCl)
phenoxyethanol

I don't like this new gel. I can't apply it to my beard anymore cuz when I do it dries so fast and is so visible that I have to take all the residue off my face and I don't think is as effective if at all when I leave it for that short amount time so my beard kind of stopped getting thinner. Wneh I apply it to my hair I leave it on for the night but in the morning it is snow all over my scalp so I have to wash it off. I think I am going to look for something else even though it is effective it's just pain in the butt. I have few options left which is Genhair flutamide, lipoxidil flutamide and that would be all. i emailed sinere but it seems like they are not in the hurry to change it back to the way it was. I know I am just one person but that other gel was just perfect and this one is total opposite.
