Hey Guys,
Started to really try and tackle this hair loss thing head on recently... was using minoxidil loosely for a while. I started applying it correctly and letting it sink in. Added daily Saw Palmetto... not quite ready for a prescription of finasteride yet. I know how some people feel about SP but i want to give it a few months and really see what it might do.
Also added Nizoral... i had the bottle from a year ago. I tried it then but noticed extreme scalp itch the next day, i never had scalp itch so i put the stuff in storage and didnt use it.
After starting my new regime and doing research it seemed like i should jump back on the nizoral so i did. This time i actually had scalp itch before using it. The nizoral seemed to help my scalp itch and my hair felt great.
Ive been using it once every 2-3 daysfor about 3 weeks now. Recently i've really noticed my frontal hairs are getting that dieing wispy look... like theyre on their way out. Hair seems thinner in general in the front. Maybe its natural progression but it really sucks to see it after becoming diligent about hair loss.
Can anyone weigh in on this? Anyone else experience the same thing?
Quick side note... i'm really debating trying spironolactone, wheres a good place to get this at?
