Only problem with your advice is it is hard to know which ones like me and which ones don't, and which ones don't talk back because they assume I really just care about school when I ask them about school, and don't realize I like them.

You don't know how many times I've walked up to a woman and talked to her for a while, and we ran out of stuff to say, and I did not know what to do next, and I just left. Or times I asked a woman out to dinner, and usually get a yes. They take the free dinner, but I don't even get a kiss, and they want to date other men whom I'm sure get get kisses. How do I know if I'm being used or if she likes me or if she likes me for the free night out?

I hate when I'm really nice to a woman for a long time, and she loves it, and just wants to be friends. And really really wants to be close friends because she loves all the benifits, but does not want to do anything physical with me. Happens a lot. All that time and effort wasted, when I could have invested it in someone who does like me.

So how am I supposed to know who likes me and who does not?

My other problem is how do I go talk to women? If they are in my class I can walk up to them after class and talk about the class, and if they seem too busy, I can just walk away. But only going for women in my classes limits my options. I want to talk to women I see at the library or the gym. I'm not interested in parties or bars or other similar places.

I think if a woman thinks I am cute, then immediately I have something in common and conversation will just flow. The key is to talk to her about anything some how and make it a little obvious I am interested. If she is not, she will push me away fast. If a guy needs an excuse like a question about class or something to get her to talk, then she is not interested. Maybe if he is borderline she will go for him if she gets to know him and they have enough in common. So I got to hint that I am interested without being arrogant or shy, and provide conversation about anything just so there are not any awkward silences, and if she likes me, she'll talk, and agree to see me later or just give me her facebook info, which is what most people on campus do.

There is a woman 20 feet away from me checking her facebook on a computer in this library computer commons. It think I'm in her league. I just don't know what to say, and I have homework to get done in an hour.

If you're afraid of nothing, dynamic and like to party hard then you'll have less problems with women. But if dont then looks matters a lot. your life depends on it.

it is very good way to determine your actual looks. People are honest when they can rate others anonymously.

I can't think of a worse way to determine the quality of your looks.

I too have got a little story that might give you boys a bit of boost too. The other afternoon I was sitting in the pub after work chatting with my colleagues and 6 or so of the girls were sat at the table just next to me. They got into a conversation about what men they like when Vin Deisel came into the conversation - "f*** yeah, he's fit, I most definitely would, he's the man of my dreams etc" naturally this made my ears prick up and was my que to enter the converstion.. "Surely that's only cos of his muscles though innit?" (Hint hint, you can't possibly like his slap head) - "ooh no, its not that, its his eyes, his voice, his attitude....everything skinheads really do it for me" I then watched in astonished amazement as not one but every single one of the girls on the table nodded their heads in agreement then started listing other bald, balding or shaved head men that they find fit. The ones from Prison Break were the most popular. One even went as far as to say she didn't go for guys with hair full stop!!

I really took heart from hearing that. While most of us worry that there's women out there that don't find baldness attractive - and yeah, maybe there is - on the other side of the coin there are women that only go for shaved heads. And I believe these far outweigh the shallow b****s who are turned off by it.

I will just add however (and this is only my personal opinion, I'm not gay or anything so wat the frig do I know) that a shaved head looks much better if you've got a good figure and a tan. I did number 0 shave last year and I don't think it suited me but only owing to the fact I'm a skinny pale bastard but with a bit of a beer belly and bloated face (thankyou minoxidil). But even then everyone said it looked much better on me!
