Hair Loss: Everyday is a Bad Hair Day

I guess I have to say it again: a hair system is not a viable solution for hair loss.

Hair transplants on the other hand are a viable solution. Pretty much the only solution we have to truly restore a NW4-7.

If you chose an obscure surgeon or weren't a candidate beforehand, then you only have yourself to blame. Don't dismiss hair transplant for everyone.

I had a below average donor area and my FUE was a success anyway. Well, I'm at 50% of my final result, but it's looking pretty good already.

Get this in you head, you will never get the perfect head of hair of your teens, it is gone, forever. A hair transplant can give you some hair at least.

Or would you prefer walking around with a shiny NW5-6? Because that would be so much better than a buzz cut right?

A hair system isn't the only way, in fact it's not a way at all. How many members have had success with a hair piece? Virtually none.

I remember this very arrogant guy who didn't believe me and got a hair system.

He came back a few months later saying I was indeed right. It's almost impossible to pull off, with the maintenance and all the lifestyle limitations it demands.

It's funny how people like to shout this "get a hair system dude!" while they've never tried one themselves and are not educated about it at all.

Given the insane amount of traffic websites like toplace receive, we know that isn't true.

You think people would still be posting here if they've rectified their problems with a decent system?

A hair system gives you lots more flexibility and options with styling, and you think it's more maintenance than topical heavy regimes like laser/ minoxidil/RU? Really?

Hair systems aren't for everyone but to dismiss them as a viable alternative to hair loss is garbage.

So now picture a bald, hairy body covered in tattoos with that build approaching?? Oh yeah REAAAALLLLL sexy

There are parts of the world where you could get tons of pussy with that look. Douchebag-hipsters are overtaking the globe too fast. You got it the worst in North America.

- That's not how minoxidil works. No one knows how minoxidil works.

- I'm not thinning all over, my sides and back are untouched. I suffer from DPA (diffuse patterned alopecia), not DUPA which is quite rare.

- Again, my hair on the sides and back aren't thinning at all. Wh

Find me one INDEPENDENT forum (like gourmetstylewellness.com or BTT) where they show dozens of hair pieces success. I'll save you time, you won't find any.

I agree with Swingline/Notcoolanymore. I lift and diet and don't look at all like my age in the body dept. I'm about 5 lbs away from a 6 pack at 40 sumptin but I know there is no way it would compensate for having to shave my melon. It doesnt work like that. You become a caricature.

I'm sorry things aren't worse for me. I'll comb my hair rougher and try to lose some more to put your mind at ease:)

Hey! Now thats irony. I had cancer at 30 but never went to a cancer forum. But, I would tell them to cheer up. Ive been in remission going on 15 years.

I wouldnt say its very little, seems like plenty to me. At any rate, hair loss is something you can see every day and cancer generally isnt. Neither are good.

I never felt compelled to join a cancer forum. Of course, that was back when the web wasnt as prominent in everyone's life.

I dont think you are entirely wrong for the most part. But, I like these folks so I pop around sometimes.

Man, DHT is destroying that guy. That's brutal and it sucks.

Even though you see tons of guys with NW5 and 6's in their early 20's, you STILL think that being NW2 in your forties is 'plenty' ? I don't know about you, but I'd consider yourself lucky and leave this forum and enjoy life. Not only did you have lots of hair during the prime of your life, but you also have lots of hair well into your forties too. Like I said 1000 times already, you don't belong on a hair loss forum, but I'm guessing you just come here to interact anyway.

Here we go, fresh example just rolled in: http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interac...e-Thinner-Why-God-Why-!?p=1211415#post1211415

NOW THAT is a case where medical should cover a hair transplant. This BS that we will cover some fatty fatso who made themselves that way 99% of the time but not this guy. We should start a white house petition and all sign it. Just for this guy.

This isnt a serious post correct?

Tell me you are not one of those? I HAVE to work out now. Where I used to do it because I loved and and it made me feel good now I HAVE to do it or fall into the catagory of "out of shape bald guy". When you HAVE to do something it takes all the fun and integrity out of it.
.

This is so true I use to like going to the gym and working out but I've since lost motivation upon realising that I now have to do it as compensation for my hairloss. It dosen't help that there are mirrors everywhere at the gym. Luckily at my age my metabolism allows me to look in shape without exercise.

I took a gym membership when I was 19, and it's the mirrors that made me flee this environment.

Seeing my early hair loss on the ceiling, walls, everywhere, not a good way to cope with hair loss.

Why not just workout at home?
