Brother listen to me and listen closely. It is not over for you yet, you still have a shot. Many would kill to be in your position. Start finasteride immediately it unfortunately is your ONLY shot at living life with a full head of hair. Start with half a pill if you're worried about sides....wait 6-12 months and if you're happy with your hair great, if your stable but not improved then go get yourself an hair transplant from a solid Doctor. Don't give up dude.

Maybe unsubscribe to chapos patreon and start putting that towards an hair transplant, they're making enough money without you anyways :D

Also dont be a tool and bother wit topical finasteride seriosuly dude. Either shave your head and move on or do as I outlined above. This is the only way I'm just trying to save you time and stress.

Does topical finistaride have a bad rep for effectiveness? I've seen nothing but results in the studies I have read about.

I like the way I look in the second group of pics and I can still pull it off.

Yeah, he's in an EXCELLENT position, but he doesn't realize it.

If he stops medicating, he WON'T be in a good position, and he probably WON'T get it all back.

Right now, he could go back to a NORWOOD ZERO, if he ADDS finasteride and continues to use Minoxidil daily.

No, in fact it's equal, if not a few percentage points better in eliminating DHT from the scalp.

In fact, Hasson and Wong sells a 2.5 milligram topical solution.

You've all convinced me, I am going to try topical Finistaride. I have a consult with a hair restoration surgeon and a derma appointment next week, I'll start by then.

I really hope you do. Stick with it.

If you stop medicating your hair, please... don't show your head (LOL, just kidding)..

topical finasteride doesn't magically reduce your scalp DHT without reducing serum DHT, so there is still potential for sides. IMO it is better suited for people who have already tried finasteride orally and had sides and want to reduce their risk slightly. But if you have the money and don't mind the inconvenience go for it dude. With your diffuse loss it may become costly and an annoyance long term.

ya but it does reduce the actual amount of the drug going into your body so few sides. Why would it be an annoyance long term?

Hi there, I might have a solution for you!

But first, I want to briefly discuss about the problem maker that makes our hair fall out. Hair loss is part of the natural aging process. Stress, eating habits, health issues can also affect hair loss. One thing that aging and most of other factors have in common is that they increase the production of DHT. DHT causes both men and women to lose hair, and is a natural reaction from stress, age, genetics or hormonal changes in the body. DHT is a derivative of the male testosterone that both genders have. In our scalp there is an enzyme called alpha 5 reductase, when there is an accumulation of testosterone and these 2 combine together to create DHT. This DHT hormone clogs up the hair follicles, making them thinner and thinner and eventually suffocating the hair follicles. Then, hair follicles will be clogged up and unable to produce hair, which can be in this state for years.

Sufficient studies have been done to uncover ingredients like Capixyl, Procataline and Crodasorb to effectively prevent production of DHT thus succeeding in regrowing healthy hair.

A product that I recommend trying is Monat which has all these active ingredients, which reduce inflammation of the hair follicles, provides effective anti-aging properties, and protect the hair from UV rays from the sun.

Contact me at [email protected] for more information if you're tired of hair loss and want a change!

Do you have any testimonials about this product? If there is scientific proof on it, or you have testimonials I can check out myself, I might be interested.

Just got back from the gym, these pics are with tussled, moist gym hair but also with hair spray and volume fibers in. I'm going to buzz it tomorrow after I go to the derma, so I can get a feeling for how I would look bald:

I would use finasteride if I were you, but shave your head first and see if you are ok with it.

Your rate of loss isn't that quick, but it's not slow either. It could pick up much more quickly soon because male pattern baldness is unpredictable.

Then, if you get a lot balder, you'll probably regret not taking finasteride.

Ya I'm going to do it. I'm going to the derma today. After that I am going to shave my head.
