Okay I will try to keep this as short as possible because I mainly want to start a discussion and get feedback on this topic.
As I have noticed I may not have hair forever it has began to impact the way I date women. I started noticing my hairline receding about 3 years ago. Around that time I started dating someone. I was a very self conscious person at the time and this person helped me a lot with my confidence issues. Around the two year mark I started to feel that even though this girl loves me with all of her heart she may not be the one for me. For the past year I have struggled with doing what is right and letting her go. There are a lot of factors as to why I struggled with this, but one recurring thought that is literally insane, is hair loss. I feel as if sometimes I am only staying with her because she would love me no matter what, regardless of how my appearance may change as I age. I know this is extremely selfish, and have recently broken up with her because I feel that it is the right thing to do. I am ashamed that I drug out the break up for so long over my own insecurities.
Has hair loss ever affected your dating life in this way, making you feel restricted or trapped in certain situations? Also how has hair loss affected your new ventures into dating after a break up?
