Just turned 26, I have been on finasteride for about 15 months, and minoxidil for 3-4 years. To the naked eye, I don't have hair loss really but if I pull back my hair you can see the corners are receeded, one moreso than the other (not mature hairline, male pattern baldness).
I started minoxidil when I very first saw any thinning on the crown and then got on finasteride when the minoxidil didn't seem to be enough to stop it. So right now, my crown is pretty much "restored" but corners have still slowly faded back.
I have had no side effects on finasteride (knock on wood), and I am fine getting work done knowing it most likely will need to be done in the future again since Im so young.
My question is, do I wait until a year and a half-2 years to see what happens? Then evaluate a hair transplant?
It really drives me crazy and I think I am ready to get work done. What do you all think?
