Ok bro sorry
Just my 2 cents here but I'm probably one of the older guys on the forum, been dealing with balding since my twenties and still have a full thick head of hair at 48...not many can say that so I know a little about what I'm talking about. First off you have to give things a reasonable time to work so don't panic yet. The finasteride should do well for u at your age if you have no sides. I used it for years with great success, I'm also a diffuse thinner but the closer you get to fifty the less effective it is which was my situation. If I were u I would avoid this RU stuff, sh*t isn't even approved for use on people u might get a hair or two back but it might be growing out the top of the tumor on your head lol. I use Viviscal man 2x daily, 5% Lipogain (already has azeliac acid in it and about a dozen more ingredients), laser cap three times a week for thirty minutes (the more lasers the better) and Lipogain Big 5 shampoo. Will cost a little time and money but if it were easy everyone would have hair . I'll post my pics, the first was my shed after starting Lipo the rest we're a few weeks to months after.

Looks full to me, if your wondering if if balding your probly not balding.
Do you think its possible for me to get back my full density I had at the beggining of the year? I am gonna stick with finasteride but from what I hear from other people who shed a lot of hairs is that finasteride almost immediately stopped their loss. It only takes longer (6+ months) for them to see improvement as in growth but that the loss should stop after a week or so. But this hasnt happened to me.

Ya I don't recall shedding much starting finasteride but that was a long time ago. I have read several different sources indicate that a hair follicle can come back even after seven years. If it's regular old male pattern baldness then you should be able to get it back. You might want to get an Ativan script to help calm your nerves until your situation calms down, if it's stress related that should help.

Goddamn... on the bright side your hairline's intact, but you are definitely diffusing in at least a NW6 pattern.

You're on Finasteride at the moment right? Stay on it for at least a full year, if you're still shedding you may want to upgrade to Dutasteride & topical Spironolactone.

Can this be telogen effluvium? Even my dad who went bald super young didnt have diffuse thinning, he just straight up had a receding hairline until norwood 7

It could be telogen effluvium. But then again my hair loss started in very much the same manner and I'm a diffused Norwood 3 now.

Have you noticed any miniaturization in the hairs you're shedding? If you do you've definitely got male pattern baldness. I wouldn't rely on what a dermatologist says since most are incredibly unhelpful about hair. Let the Big Three do their thing for at least a full year, and if you're still shedding then you may want to up the ante with Dutasteride.

Also if you think 21 is bad try 17.
