I've been taking finasteride for the last 14 years or so and that allowed me to keep a decent head of hair (I'm 36 and still a NW2).

At first, hairloss was a major thing but now I simply don't care anymore. I only take the Proscar pill every now and then and applying Rogaine is no longer a mandatory ritual.

Is this a normal consequence of ageing? Am I getting more mature?

I had to deal with it! When I turned 17, I was losing tons of hair. I was extremely depressed about it and even my hairdresser freaked out when she saw how bad it was.

I went to see several doctors and found out about Proscar. I was probably the first person in my country to try it (I believe Propecia wasn't even an approved med back then) and it worked.

This pill come with a nice ED as a side dish, and it wont stop hair loss, it will slow it down, if its aggresive hair loss it wont help either. *and* if it did, you still have to take that **** for the rest of you life...so yeah, pointless, useless, whatever you call it, it true.

No what i ment when i said it was pointless was that I DIDNT WANT TO DO IT if i thought it was pointless in the way you think i ment it why would i go to someone else on here and say if you want to do it then what ever makes you happy....wouldnt i be telling him its pointless to? think about what you are saying dude you making out that i said its pointless to take meds because it wont do much to your hair or something...i never said it didnt work for others or help others but i think its pointless cause i dont want to do it i mean what person who dont mind being bald and like the look etc (like myself) would want to do it? take pills etc? they wouldnt would they? so wouldnt it be pointless for them to do it? think about it yeah? Class A was filed against merc couple years ago, they were forced to add a warning to the medication about sides, FDA emphasized that in some cases side effects are not adverse.... now that is not *me* telling you lies... that is merc itseld AND the FDA... but hey its your life, you wanna **** it up!? be my guest...

fyi, Israel didnt updated warnings on the medications...at least not the last time i checked.
