It's definitely because you lowered the dose. You hair was best on daily finasteride. Just look at the photos 1 month and 2 months on daily it was best.

I use 0.25mg orally and topically x3 weekly. I do this to reduce scalp dht further. And finasteride gives me sides but never ED.

By drops is drops from this a damn pipette for me 1 drop is almost 1mg.

No daily is bad if u have ED. Use less often.
